I'm toying with the idea for a thread that we can use for MP meet-ups in DA:I.  Preferably, meet-ups would have mixed skill-levels so that those of us who aren't as skilled can get pointers from more highly skilled players.  Maybe another thread dedicated to the MP itself?

Though, there is a group for DA MP specifically (Link), but it's entirely up to you guys.  What do you think?

i'm surprised you posted this in the elven support thread, since it does not seem related.

Sounds good to me.

It's related because we've already been exchanging information so that members of this group can get together in MP.

I know, but I was scrolling through the PSN/Origin ID/XBox Gamertag thread and it just came to mind.  Anyway, what do you think we should do?

I think it would be helpful to have an additional means of coordinating MP sessions... randomly getting together if we happen to see one another online isn't ideal when we can simply post here instead.

edit:  Also, you seem to have posted this thread twice... lol

Yeah, I've been having problems with BSN lately.  Likes not showing up right away, or at all, unless I refreshed the page, posts not showing up after hitting 'Post', notifications not showing up yet still taking up a slot in my notifications box, stuff like that.  Nothing major has happened, but I guess I've been lucky.

EDIT: Deleted the copy thread.

So have I and many others... there is a thread about it in the Help section, and one of the mods there said that they switched over from a faulty server or something to correct the issue... that fixed the majority of the problems I was having yesterday, but there is still a great deal of slowdown... I've found that refreshing the screen will display posts and likes, just make sure you copy your post to the clipboard before refreshing to see if it went through...

I would truly enjoy trying to play DA MP.  However, I am a so-so player.  I have played both DA games, Oblivion, and Kingdoms of Amalur on the PS3.   And yes, I do play casual on everything.  ;)

I figure I'm decent at video games since I completed Dark Souls multiple times, but I don't mind who I team up with or what difficulty we play on.  So long as we have fun, that's all that really matters to me...

Um... but I would really like it if we could figure out a way to have at least 1 character of each class so that we can access all the hidden treasures... that part I actually do care about.  xD

I rate my skill-level on a per-game basis.  I'm really good at GTA, but I'm not that good at COD (unless it's Zombies- I'm really good at that).  I'm great at ME and DA, but not so much on Dark Souls.  I really shine in strategy games, whether turn-based or RTS.

I rarely bump into people on ME3 MP that can out-score me on the scoreboard when I'm playing a kit I'm comfortable with.  Hell, I've out-scored people with BOTB banners all the time, and I don't have one myself atm (grinding for it, though).

I want to do my entire first playthrough of DA:I first before I get into the MP, but the MP is real tempting...  Might get a good portion into DA:I so I can get used to the combat before jumping onto the MP, but I'm not 100% sure yet.  Still thinking on it.

If I had to compare DA:I to another game, I'd say it was like Marvel Ultimate Alliance... I doubt it'll be too challenging except on the highest difficulty level, but even then that can be mitigated by character level, equipment, tactics, etc...

Anyway, I'm pretty much in the same boat.  I don't plan to play MP at all until I finish SP once so that I can get the full, uninterrupted experience.  I figure that will be more than enough practice to do pretty well in MP... so long as I'm playing as a mage.  Actually warrior might not be that bad either, but I'm going to stay away from rogues if possible... if I have to play as a rogue, it would need to be one of the archers... I simply do not trust being unable to block or defend myself outside of dodging.  We only get a couple of potions to work with, and I'd rather stay on my feet until the boss is defeated...

Well, I'm going to play as a dual-wield rogue first thing simply because that's my favorite class in DA.  Then again, Vanguard is my favorite class in ME, yet I rarely play as one in ME3 MP because of how buggy it can be off-host.  I find myself playing Engineers on it more often, and that's my second favorite class.

The way I see the MP is being a way to try out builds without having to start a new playthrough in the SP.  It allows you to see what works, what doesn't, what's the more fun to play, and what's the least fun.  Then there are the characters that have abilities that are unique to them, which allows you to try tactics you wouldn't be able to try in SP.  I will try every character in DA MP, but I'm going to start with Assassin simply because it's my favorite class and my favorite rogue spec.

As for when I'll play DA MP... I'm not sure.  idk when I'll finish my first DA:I playthrough, and since this is the first game I'm getting on day 1 and it has MP capability, I would prefer to start fresh on the MP at the same time as everyone else.  I'm definitely going straight into the story when DA:I launches, but whether I'll wait until I've finished the campaign before jumping onto the MP or if I'll play the campaign for a while before jumping onto the MP is something I'm still deciding on.  It wasn't a problem before, but now that I'm thinking about it, I'm not sure which route I'll go.

Well, if you want to be an Assassin, I won't object.  The PS3 players here will need one or two Keepers most likely, unless the Elementalist also has Barrier... the Arcane Warrior might, but I doubt the Elementalist will... I guess I could do that if nobody else wants to, but I'm probably going to switch to AW as soon as I unlock him.

What I might try to do is level a couple of different characters so that I can adjust to whatever the party calls for... like maybe the Legionnaire (tank), Archer (rogue), or Arcane Warrior (Barrier).  We'll see how that goes.

same here, but in mass effect 3's multiplayer i played on the different difficulties, depends on how many people are in the group and what equipment i have. depending on how similiar Inquisition's multiplayer is, i might be good or bad at it.
