And can anyone give me a guide on how to get the right amount of war assets?

I believe you need just a little bit over 1750 of EMS to be able to kill of two squadmates and still have the memorial wall scene.
The amount war asset you'll need is dependent on your GAW and the amount of assets you do gain intentionally and accidentally. You may have a higher chance of achieving this at at a Readiness of 50%. The other way is to edit your assets' value if you're on PC, but note that assets that are already obtained cannot change their values. They must be changed and then obtained to have their desired effect.

Just screw up everything you can think of. Don't do any of the side missions. Don't play any multiplayer. Just do the main missions, screw over the Krogan by shooting Mordin, don't disarm the bomb, don't do any of the DLC... This also means don't rescue Koris, and don't do the Geth Fighter Mission and destroy the Geth especially if you overwrote the Geth. It will give you fewer quarian assets. Remember Less is best. You can even be "paragon" and do this. Nothing like "good is dumb."
Screw the memorial scene.
In fact, what you should do is uninstall the Extended Cut when you play this. Play the Original Ending. It will be epic.

Already I have 1050 TMS but have a 55% readiness rating, so its down to 577.

You're gonna need a TMS of 3500(approximately)to obtain an EMS of 1750.

If he uninstalled the EC I don't think he'd get the memorial wall scene. Isn't that something the EC added?
Also, doing the worst you can do will not get you the ending you want. I never got the low-ems ending before myself but I've seen it on youtube. There was no memorial wall scene, I guess because everyone on the Normandy died. At least, everyone of importance.
Excella suggests its possible but I'm not sure. I was under the impression that Harbinger only turns them to ash if you have a ridiculously small amount of EMS. Isn't there another stage where if you have a low EMS but not SUPER low they die and you can find their bodies near the beam? Or was that removed in the EC? I think the harbinger blast is the lowest of low EMS. If it's that low I don't think you'll ever see the memorial wall because everyone on the Normandy are screwed.
Could be wrong though. Like I said, never tried a low-EMS run. I'd be interested to hear your results.

Well, the OP has a GAW Readiness of 55%, and so, I don't think the OP should lessen their assets too much until their TMS reaches closer to 3,100. If GAW Readiness is very low, the more assets you'll need, and the higher your GAW is, the less you'll need.

It is very doable, and I've done it before. Having an EMS above 1750 will give you Control as a second option already. Your crew will still live on either ending.

Exactly there is no memorial scene in the Original Ending. If you're killing off people on the run, do you really care about the memorial scene? Only for lols. The OE is far darker. That's why with the lowest EMS ending it is so epic.

Interesting. I wasn't aware Harby could beam your squad while still managing to score enough EMS to get the memorial scene. Though my knowledge on the low-EMS scenes stems solely from youtube videos, not personal experience.
What does having the control ending have to do with it, though?

Be that as it may the OP was specifically asking how to get the two squadmates killed AND get the memorial scene. Therefor uninstalling the EC would not be in his best interest, since it will remove the scenes he is after.
Actually, isn't the harbinger beam something only in the EC too? I remember seeing 'deleted content' of that scene on youtube before the EC was a thing but wasn't it something only EC implemented?

For both squadmates to die on the beam run and still have the memorial wall scene, ems has to be between 1750 and 1900. If galactic readiness is at 50%, just have your total military strength between 3500 and 3900.
When I do a playthrough that has both squadmates killed, I'm able to do a lot in the game. Some things I did skip.
Here's a way to get the lowest amount of assets
