Does anyone know anything new about whether it'll be possible to upgrade a standard edition to Deluxe somehow?

 

On Xbox one there is an upgrade can't see that it wont be on the other platforms.

That goes to show Origin's support agents are woefully informed. I just asked that question and they told me there would be no preload.

 

I guess it's possible that it's a regional thing but that seems odd to me. I suppose you could purchase the game, see if there's a preload (because it will say when you hover over it) and then cancel and get your money back if there is no preload in your area.

Like everyone's saying, it's a matter of personal preference. I personally preordered the Deluxe Edition for the PS4 on the PSN. Mine will let me download it starting at 11pm on November 17th. And I always love just having a list of downloaded games so I don't have to keep switching games out manually.

I just cancelled my amazon order and went full download via origin. I give lots of cred to amazon they really get the game to you fast, and with any other game that would be fine. BUT THIS IS THE INQUISITION. And Origin lets you start playing Nov. 17th at 11 pm.

 

I shall slay mightily all through the night.

But still, no dice on the digital download. I don't feel like I 'have' the game if it's just a download.

I pre-ordered the deluxe edition for PC download. I was going to get the physical disk, but I wanted to play it the second it came out. I'm very excited about it.

Can't do Doritos.  Back on the diet I fell off of earlier this year.  Lost 60 pounds and want to lose about 60 more.  For inquisition though I'll consider hooking up an IV to my coffee machine.

Have the Deluxe edition disc pre-ordered on Amazon for PC but I'm changing that to PS4 - I like physical editions but I just couldn't resist the lure of being able to play the Deluxe edition on my PC at 10 PM on the 17th.  I'm sure my mail lady appreciates that I won't be stalking her for this one.  Planning on getting  a PS4 for hubby and the kids for Christmas so this way they'll have a game to play on it.  Not sharing my PC (at least not for a few months).

How would that setup work exactly? I have two or three coffee makers in my bedroom right now, think that's enough?

(My girlfriend hates that the coffee makers in here, but. . . I'm not sure if I have ENOUGH coffe makers. . . Probably not. . . No definitely not. . . *goes to amazon to shop for another*)

I generally preorder physical copies, but DA:I is the first time I'm going digital for a preorder (I've purchased plenty of games on Steam since DA2). Preordered the digital deluxe version the second it was available. Originally I'd planned to get retail and pick it up after work... but I got laid off less than a week before the preorders opened. My reasoning was since I'd have to look for jobs, digital was safer - if I had to relocate between April and November, I could still keep my original preorder and acquire it.

 

Now it's simply a nice bonus that I can download and install days before, and play right at midnight.

I preordered the amazon disc version of Inquisition, but I just learned about the pre-download on origin. I am looking for suggestions. I could play the game the instant it's released, but I wouldn't get to feel the hard disc in my hands...   (mauahaha)
