Buy yourself a Technivorm Moccamaster. You'll never need another.

Having a physical copy that I can hold in my hands is still important for me. I like having the game box, the art, the disk.

I'm just weird like that. Besides, I'll have work on release day so I wouldn't be able to play through the night even if I did go digital.

Funny only reason I still do physical is because. . . I like midnight launches. Lol

Personally I would go for the disc. I like having that feeling of "I own this game" that comes with being able to hold it in your hands. Plus, if it's anything like any of my other PC games from EA you can just register it on Origin and be able to play it from there if you're ever unable to use the disc.

I have classes on that day (but I will not got - couldn't concentrate on the person teaching anyway...so why bother?) - still, I will stay at home.

I'd like a hard-copy, too - but the digital deluxe has more pre-order bonuses which makes that tempting as well (and I could start playing way earlier...)...I just don't know (note: I'd hate buying both - need that money otherwise)... :(

Is there a way to get both? (the bonuses of the digital-deluxe and a DVD-Hard-Copy)

greetings LAX

ps: I am not pre-ordering because of the bonuses - but if I am pre-ordering anyway, it would be nice to get them (free-stuff, so why not?)

I cancelled my pre-order on Amazon and reordered on Origin yesterday.

I could not stand the thought of me being jealous of my coworker playing while I sat like a vulture at the mailbox.

i just ordered the Deluxe Edition today, of all the days it could of gone gold and i randomly pick Halloween, from my local Gamestop, They are doing a midnight sale the 17th/18th and i like the security of a physical copy, plus the normal strategy guide, so i am pretty happy right now ;)

However, if there was not a midnight sale i would be doing digital probably.

However with this game being as massive as it is, even with pre-loading there might be download problems, with a physical copy i play ten minutes after midnight guaranteed, don't have to worry about download congestion with Origins servers, just game authentication and i am on my way ;)

Advice for the OP, if you are planning to play right at midnight then go for the Digital download or a midnight sale.

I will download it from Origin in privacy of my room. Like this way more even if it is sometimes slow. But I rather do that, than undergo strange eye glances from the local shopkeeper, who probably can't understand my addiction towards games :P (small place, where I live, and they price it much more than Bioware themselves lol) and I kinda lack space to put more physical copies in my room and yes I am really unlucky with having cds. They often get scratched -_- somehow...I have a cd graveyard. rest in peace cds...

That shopkeeper sounds like a fool. If I was about to sell someone a $60 product that's easy to get online, I don't think I'd be giving any strange looks.

Just so you know, even if you have the disc version, you can still download the game via Origin. You discs get lost or destroyed? No problem, just download your game.

Easy for you to say, 26 GB worth of download will cost me $50. Its as much as the bloody game. God damn the ISPs.

It's a massive download for me as well---my internet connection is laughable. But i will be copying and pasting the entire DAI folder from origin and storing a copy on an external HDD, so that I don't have to ever redownload the entire thing again.

At first I was going to buy the game because I like the feeling of it in my hands. But my schedule the day of release will be hectic so I pre-ordered it at Playstation store today! I just can not not go one day more day without it!

I have a question. If I digitally download on Xbox One and wipe it off in a year to clear up space for a new game. Will I be able to re-download it if I decide to play it in the future or would I have to buy it again?

No worries if you delete it. As long as you hold onto your xbox live account, you can re-download and delete as much as you like!

Definitely all digital for me.    I haven't bought a physical copy of anything in years.

When I was younger, I was like many of you, wanting the cloth maps, boxes, manuals, figurines, etc.     However, about the time I think I hit my mid-30s and had lugged all that stuff through several home moves, needed drawer space, having cleaned around all that stuff...  I realized I really only ever wanted to play the games anyway.   So I pitched most of that stuff and never regretted it since.

Now I store my game library in cyberspace and never have to worry about the physical stuff again.

I pre-ordered the physical edition from Amazon. Usually when I pre-order from them, I get the game one day early and this way I don't have to deal with any downloading. Also I just prefer having a physical box, at least for games that are as important to me as the DA games.

Digitial only for me. I am not interested in physical copies of games anymore, they just take up space while collecting dust.

I pre-ordered the disc because my ps4 has enough games downloaded on it already.

Although I have bought a physical copy, I'm planning on adding the code to Origin and downloading from there...it was either that or wait until mid-December to play, as I won't be in the same country as my copy until then, (I'll be getting a relative to open said copy to provide me with the code).

While it might have been easier just to buy the game on Origin, I wanted a physical copy to go with the copies of DA:O & DA:2 that I already own - plus I ended up ordering the Inquisitors Edition :)
