The only bad thing was the beach. Real waves obviously wash up and recede. What they've shown at 15:09 is just water moving up and down, not back and forth.

Oddly enough, she looks rather like my Lady Aeducan Warden - except with her hair up and freckles (which would have been there had DA:O given the option).
 

As I try to match up my Heroes (class/gender/personality), hopefully the lovely 'Scout of Death' will be able to be flirted with by female Inquisitors...hope she likes other girl dwarves!

I know that but still don't get it. Is it because that particular channel has a partner program with twitch and all money that views will get will be transfer to charity? It makes sense then. But i didn't noticed there some of the options that is unique to a channels with a partner's program. For example, quality settings.

I think that's it, yeah.  It was a thing with Raptr and they had a bunch of streamers playing games, and you donate through Raptr's twitch.  I think.

Looks like Scout Harding will be a somewhat permanent feature in the game, greeting us every time we travel to a new area.

 

Her design makes the idea of making a female dwarf all the more appealing for me too (as did the female dwarf tarot card, which is probably my favorite actually.)

 

John Cury sounds amazing as the male dwarf inquisitor. Strange to think it's the same VO actor for Zevran. He has a fantastic range.

 

I can't get over how beautiful the game looks. The vistas, climb and sliding up and down hills and mountains ... and that giant/dragon fight especially reminds me a lot of Skyrim. But because it's Bioware the game has the added benefit of a fantastic story, interesting companions, etc. And the horse riding animations look infinitely better as well.

So it looks like the purple dragon fighting the green skeletal dragon in the Hero of Thedas trailer WAS an electrical high dragon, not Flemeth, as I surmised. You can see the dragon's forward curving horns.

I hope this means that (assuming we acquire a dragon for the Inquisition to begin with) we can choose the species of the dragon, because there are some badass new breeds!

Another reason for doing it on Raptr's stream might be that people might be watching it who wouldn't watch a Bioware stream.  You don't want your marketing to be all directed at the people who are probably going to buy your game anyway.

When they're doing the rift fight you get a close-up of a Lesser Terror's head, and I noticed it was covered with the same weird eye-holes thing as the giant spider creature (Blinky)in the trailers. Wondering if Blinky is basically some kind of Greater Terror demon, which I guess fits with the whole arachno-trypophobia thing it has going.

Blinky... Demon Broodmother?

 

 

Blinky is huge, clearly in the Fade (from the green surroundings) and seems to be some kind of major boss. Phobia demon might work, but I reckon they'll go with something more english/generic, so unless it has a specific name (like 'Geoff') something  'Greater Terror' or 'Greater Fear'. Or maybe they will go the greek route (like Hybris) and call it Phobos. Or Deimos, actually.

The facial animations were a little stiff than I recall from Mass Effect and the casual clothes still look awful -- Otherwise, interesting. The coast off Amaranthine, eh? Hmm..

The hardest decision is going to be whether to hide helmets or not.

The more I hear scout Harding talk, the more I wish she was the one voicing the inquisitor. She sounds so adorbs and I feel both options we have been offered are lower in pitch than what I'd desire. Her's is perfect, but alas, we cannot use her voice.

 

Also loved finally being able to watch it. Beautiful area!
