So Vivienne's hat actually has a slot. What will happen if we put some peasant hat on her?
You'll have about half a second to reflect on that I think.
It looks like that's IB sitting there, but Mike said it was an optional area, and they also said they wouldn't risk messing up recruitment quests anymore, so maybe you can't recruit him yet.

Did he say the area is optional? I don't remember.

Nice stream, one of the best so far.
New area, new bad guys, dwarf inquisitor, tank skilltree, more pc ui, Sera, Vivienne and BlackwallRider. Please Bioware make a DLC with Harding romance option for Dwarves. They look so well together. ![]()

Finally watching part 1. If Blackwall is that consistently optimistic, he might be an even better fit for a tank in my Idealistic Human Mage party than Cassandra (sorry, Cass). Intriguing!

Loved the stream. A bit laggy for me on twitch so i had to watch it on YT. Every area they show i fall in love with. Simply stunning.
Things i liked: Sera's armor, Blackwall's voice, dwarf statues, Interacting with Harding and Viv's clothing
I also liked that you have 2 choices with dealing with the bandits. Amazing.

Yes, would be the answer.
Or at least: 'Yes, assuming you didn't want us to cut something else. Probably a lot of something, since hair physics is really damn hard to do in most videogames.'

I think it's the typical Grey Warden attitude. If they're good at what you do, use them.

True, but the idea of guiding someone towards a "better path" seems a touch more idealistic than the pure pragmatism the Wardens so often seem to esteem.

I'm really interested to see Blackwall in game. He looks like such an interesting character.

My favorite part of the stream...when Mike tempted fate to get a closer look at the dragon and giant fighting.
I had a good laugh when Blackwall was downed in one shot. Then I might have let out a tiny little scream when the rest of the party started dropping like flies
. Really thought he was going to have a full party wipe since I totally thought that last boulder throw was going to reach Sera.
No idea why I was so drawn into it but definitely had fun watching the whole thing unfold

As I understood it, they won't make companions that you can miss easily (ala Fenris appearing in a seemingly random side-quest), but I don't think that means you have to recruit or at least meet all of them in each game. If this is indeed Iron Bull, you can probably just walk over to him at the start of the area you just unlocked and start chatting with him. Of course, if you don't unlock the area, you can't access him, but I doubt the game will have thousands of those. Besides, any self-respecting RPG player would jump all over the possibility of entering a new area.

The only bad thing was the beach. Real waves obviously wash up and recede. What they've shown at 15:09 is just water moving up and down, not back and forth.
I thought it looked great by video game standards. Compare it to Skyrim.

I used to think any self-respecting RPG player would visit the first inn/tavern they see and yet people still managed to miss Leliana completely ![]()

That was easily my favorite stream. Can't wait to hear more party banter.
And sorry if this question has already been answered, but will every race have the same voice pitch? For example, if I chose the american accent for both my Elf and qunari characters, would they sound exactly the same, or would the qunari's voice be just a little deeper? Stupid question, but just curious.

I certainly will be unlocking all the new areas for the game since there are different ways to obtain Power and Rift portals (being random spawns) will always provide a certain amount of Power if players successfully close them. Though that will probably lead to rift portal farming runs.

Yes, AFAIA, the pitch will stay the same, regardless of race.

I understand water is difficult to animate. However I don't necessarily think Skyrim is an excuse for other games to have bad shores. Maybe I wouldn't have said anything if it weren't for the producers comments. 'Look at this water. This is absolutely gorgeous. I love this water.' I was like, well, it's not very realistic. Of course they have a game to sell.

I don't know but from how I saw it I thought it amazing. And they actually mentioned that it was something they adopted from battlefield, cause remember the game is being built in frostbite, same as battlefield 4, and I could definitely see it. I liked it. Don't know what your problem is. Bad quality stream on your end perhaps? I'd say play the game yourself and let that be the deciding factor.

When did they say that Rift portals spawn randomly? They seem to get a mission to close all rifts in a region, so i would guess they stay closed once closed.
