I played ages ago, and don't remember much.

I was wondering about favored enemy choices? I know I can cover my bases, but I am thinking of singling one enemy out for a Favored Power attack, or Improved Favored Enemy. What would you choose?

I know there are lots of Fey, but I don't remember them being the biggest issue. I thought I remembered having a tough time with Yuan-Ti and Hags (I could easily be misremembering).

I remember reading you can craft anything you could in the OC, but can you find the ingredients?

What about Archery (I am under the impression it sucks even more in NWN2 than in NWN1), what is the best you can find/craft for a longbow?

RE: the long bow, you can make almost anything if you give your Red Mage companion the skill points and feats needed. Because you have a smaller party in MoTB you will find yourself in melee more often and that more than anything else limits use of the bow. I think I stopped upgrading my longbow at +6 or +7 with extra strength and fire damage because it was already good enough. I also had plenty of magic ammo so I began many battles with at least a few ranged attacks.

In MotB, favoured enemy undead is fairly obvious. Hags, hagspawn and uthraki are most likely all monstrous humanoids, so that'd be a good choice for a second favoured enemy. Unless you had trouble against Thayan wizards, in which case go with humans.

In SoZ, yuan-ti are monstrous humanoids. I don't think there are any yuan-ti in MotB though.

Thanks. Like I said. I haven't played it in ages.

Definitely go with undead.

The other critters that take a lot of hacking to kill are the hagspawn, which I think should fall under the monstrous humanoid umbrella so a character who started in SOZ for a change and favors killing yuan-ti will find ready targets for his ire in Rashemon.  In fact, that's probably why you have yuan-ti in mind.
