In NWN one of the trainer modules had a persistent chest. So you could dump all you gear in it, and give it to a different character.
This is handy if you want to change characters between Mods (Like OC->MOTB) but want the gear you would have by playing the previous Mod in the series.
Does something like this exist for NWN2?
Not that I'm aware of. It can be done, because I've seen it in some PWs. Not sure that any trainer is still being updated TBH.
It can also be done simply by loading up any module that uses the SoZ party system, starting with the character to whom you want to give the gear, then adding your other character (the one who has the gear) to your party, transferring the items, and exporting your new character.
