It would be interesting to see the conflict.

 

But they're both player characters. Would the camera focus on Inquisitor then you pick a dialogue choice for Inquisitor, then the camera would focus on Hawke and you pick a dialogue choice for Hawke.

 

If you pick the right choices for both characters, then the Inquisitor kills Hawke?

How would this work?

It depends on how Hawke is presented. If he is working against something the Inquisitor is trying to do, killing him should be an option. The worst case scenario would be for Hawke to go the Tallis route. Your Inquisitor runs into Hawke, who is doing something your DA:I protagonist doesn't approve of, but you're forced to tag along as Hawke's sidekick. Hawke and the Inquisitor are two entirely seperate characters who may not share the same goals.

Yeah but I think there is more to it then 'I have a bad scenario where I'm good and Hawke will do bad so I wanna have the option to kill him' . I have yet to see a Topic for a 'Let me kill the Warden if he show up'....thats why .

People disliked DA2. Only reason they want Hawke to die. Bioware has said they won't be indulging people's murder fantasies.

I was among the many who had (a lot of) criticism on DA2, but that was over 3 years ago. Threads like this one serve no purpose at all on the DA:I boards in 2014, a few weeks before launch. Hating on DA2 or Hawke does not make you cool anymore, we've been there, done that. It does make you look like a tremendous troll though. If it was anything else but trolling, you'd have spent more than 2 seconds to actually make a decent posts with a few arguments to explain why (s)he should be killable, and why the killing of Hawke is apparently more important than the killing of any other (ex-)companion. Why else spend a whole separate topic of its own on this?

I have a better idea. 

Let's install a dialogue option that's available in every dialogue where you spontaneously slit your own inquisitor's throat and restart the game, wiping the save file in the process.

Cullen was kind of a d-bag in both games, gotta say.

psh, that's true with any game. But the most hate I heard was around anders. even I didnt like anders and Im a huge dragon age fan.

To be fair, the Inquisitor shouldn't care one iota about Bethany. In fact the Inquisitor shouldn't even know who Bethany is.
