Wasn't paying close attention and I accidentally set Sten to scarf a health pot whenever his health got >50% (instead of <50%). Gee, wonder what happened to those dozens of pots I saved up?

I did the same with Wynne, wondered why she was drinking a health potion every time I looked at her in combat. I also set Leliana's tactics to switch to melee weapons if under melee attack and ranged weapons if under ranged attack. She was being attacked by both, and just stood there in the middle of a fight swapping weapon sets back and forth and never struck a blow. Talk about a tactic not working out the way you planned it.
