I'm more weirded out by seeing that poor Dwarf Inquisitor spreading his legs while mounting the horse in such an unnatural way that he'd eventually lose both limbs just by sheer horse gallopping.

This. And even then I might not use it at all to be honest. If they would give the party members horses too, then I would consider it.

I'm still bitter that there are 30 mounts in this game while there's other things that should be getting more attention (hairstyles, casual outfit).

Where else is he supposed to have his legs? I can't imagine much different positions from the one they're currently using.

Ah.. i see what you did there ;)  sarcasm right?

Sarcasm? Pshhhh, I'll go one step further and say that if they don't provide seperate animations I'll find out the Devs favorite spots for lunch and write negative Yelp reviews of those lunch spots.

Actually, they disappear right after you get onto it. Party members return right after you get off.

The reason being is that mounts run into view and don't leave from it, you need to walk away from them for them to disappear. If your party vanished after they were only called, you'd only be able to get them back by walking away from where you dismounted, which could have the awkward problem of you running into enemies to try and get your party to appear. Likewise, if you accidentally called a horse in the midst of a battle, your entire party disappearing would be insta-death.

Pretty sure Lux was right and whoever you are actively controlling is the one to actually get on the mount - during the twitch stream at one point it was Blackwall riding

Read again, that's not what I'm talking about. Lux said that party members disappear after the mount is called, when in fact it is after the mount is mounted. I didn't refute anything on who is or is not riding.

Ah sorry - misunderstood what you were saying
