Kind of wondering how I set the tint map to neutral (no change)... the eyes seem to tint still slightly even though I want them white.

It's because the white color is made of red, green and blue (255 each), so each color channel change will impact the white.

The solution would be to change the white by transparent/alpha (therefore use a 32 bits deep tint map).

For glow map, full black (RGB values 0, 0, 0) is the neutral color.

Dont know how to do that. Shouldn't be too tough though right? I dont recall seeing any maps where they did RGB and left some non tinted but I am sure there are. Did they really use alpha?

Yes, it's very easy once you've got the right tools. I'm quite sure Gimp can do it, but I don't use it: I mostly work with xNormals (for the normal maps), Paint.Net for the picture modifications (color balance, effects, gamma, contraste, alpha, etc...) and xnview for conversion (tga, dds, bmp, jpg, etc...) and pictures merging (when several parts each have their own diffuse map, I usually make a single one for the whole model. It's easier for reskinning after).

I don't know if they did use alpha or if there's another way, but I know that this one works.
