i am thinking that it is Alistair. His face change frequently and this guy looks quite handsome as what Alistair should be.

I'm still holding out a small glimmer of hope that it is a stand in for your DA2 LI or alternatively one of your siblings...other than that....I can only guess it is some random new guy Hawke befriended.  I still say that looks nothing like Alistair though, far too young and has the complete wrong look.

Might it be a completely new character? One who's on your 'find Hawke' or 'kill Blinky' quest? I hope it's not Alistair as if it is then BioWare haven't even tried to keep his appearance consistent this time

Alistair if he continued to be a Grey Warden in Origins; Loghain if he became Grey Warden; Stroud if both Loghain and Alistair are unavailable.

I like this idea. It'd be nice to see Loghain come back in a heroic role.

It could be Alistair, but in DAO he had sharper features. Then again, in DA2 they made hm look bloated and there is also a precedent of changing looks due to engines. Also we don't have a clear profile shot of the Warden next to Hawke, so the features could be muddled.

Actually the more I think about it the more it makes sense. Alistair appears in DA2 in the place of Stroud if he is a Grey Warden, and some here have said we see Stroud fighting with Hawke as well.

So this implies that Alistair replaces Stroud in DAI if he remains a Grey Warden.

I don't mind if it is him. This new Warden is certainly cute enough

Edit: well I just looked at the hair again and I noticed the front is a little "gelled" like the DAO Alistair hair. I had thought it was curly (like Daveth's one) Not definitive proof, but the similarities are glaring. This is most likely Alistair.

 

 

 

Honestly, I think it's highly probable that the Warden will alter depending on your world-state. If Alistair is a Warden it might be Alistair. If Carver or Bethany are Wardens it might be them. If none of them are, then you get Stroud.

 

 

Ooh I missed this. Yeah it would be great if Carver or Bethany show up.

Carver was such a grouch. Loved having him around. He was always entertaining.

It would be awesome, but there's a problem with the Hawke CC preset used influencing the sibling appearance. 

 

Makes me wonder if they'd use the default Carver and match the skin color to the designed DAI Hawke, or just simply not bother with him to begin with.
