I know that Valve, Microsoft and Sony take a 30-40% cut of all sales on their consoles.  I know it doesn't matter hugely, but I'd like most of my purchase to go towards EA and BioWare, who actually, y'know, made the game.  What method of purchase do they get the largest cut from?

Do games manufacturers still get large tax breaks if they are based in Canada? 

Depends where. Quebec still does, I think Ontario does, not sure if BC does anymore.

Yeah not that I'm actually aware of. Though tax is pretty low there so maybe operating costs are comparable.
