Less of a "straw that broke the camel's back" and more of an extremely opportune time to strike ... right during/after a devastating crisis that's left the human nations weaker than ever.

Sten and Wrex are both elite warriors from very martial cultures who are in some sort of exile when we meet them in the first game.  They are both stoic and prefer violent solutions to problems.  They both challenge the protagonist's decisions as leader at some point in the game (Virmire, Haven).  After adventuring with the protagonist, they each then return to their own people and gain the position of ultimate-badass-in-chief.

All that's left for Sten to complete the arc is a triumphant return in the third game as the vanguard leading his people to new and greater heights.

Javik is an elite warrior to. Sten and Javik are also more strange than Wrex, since they are from races, that the player dont really know much about. I know that they all have somethings in common, but I thing Javik and Sten have the most.

But I would love to watch a conversation between the three of them. Also Bioware need to bring Sten back.

To once again bore me and confuse me with their religious nonsense and zealotry.

... and constant frowny-faces.

It does look like Bull's horns in that screen-shot, so it is probably him, bust I can still see the Qunari using this as an opportunity to strike. I fully expect a Qunari War to be in one of the games eventually, unless one of the games has a mission that is about preventing the war from happening in the first place.

Full disclosure I haven't actually played the Javik DLC.  So it's possible their personalities are more similar.  But you can't deny that Sten's and Wrex's story arcs and role in each respective universe parallel each other almost completely.

Also, the Qunari's role in the Dragon Age universe (mysterious warrior culture whose threat level to the world at large is ambiguous but a matter of concern for all) is much more similar to the Krogan than the Protheans.  The closest analogue to the Protheans in Dragon Age would be, like, the Arlathan elves.  The extinct culture that came before and left secrets for the later races to discover (Eluvians, mass relays).  That's a bit more of a stretch though.
