There's a reason I'm not bothering with a male dwarf playthrough. I think they look derpy in general. Especially the one in the OP.

They probably just seem off because Elves are like short humans, Qunari are like really tall humans, but Dwarves look the least "human"

They're more short and have a thicker build.

 

It's all about preference

Personally I think they look like regular dwarfs, but if we're really comparing they're waaaaay better than the ones in DAO. (Then again so is everything else)

the look great.  I think there is a skin texture that looks plastic-y or sweaty to me.

I don't know what it is but they look off... 

 

 

See he looks strange.  And in the new stream they did today where they used the Dwarf he had the same strange look.  Maybe it was this Dwarf they were using?  They just do not look as up to snuff as everything else we have seem...

 

What I likes most about this picture is that it looks like the character has a personality, more specific, his eyes look like there is "someone home" if anybody understand what I mean.
