I'm creating a constructive topic for the sake of the community. This topic is for additions you would like to see patched into Inquisition that would not be suitable as purchasable downloadable content that might not make it to launch or that you feel is missing post-launch. As we know, role playing games have a long 'gaming life' so it might be possible that DA:I is supported 2+ years with content. This thread is exclusively for patch requests (bugs not included) and not for paid DLC requests. I advise tempered and realistic expectations when making these requests. This is supposedly going to be 'free' content after all. I know the two most popular pre-launch requests is more varied Qunari Hair and Casual Clothing. I'm taking it upon myself to painstakingly tally and record requests in the OP as a way for the devs to measure the perceived relevance of these requested features. Please be civil and respectful to one another (I'll try my hardest, I'm Batman after all).

More Qunari hair variation (or separate slider for Qunari horns and hair) - 12

More casual clothing variation for Skyhold (or option to wear armor at Skyhold) - 16

More ballroom clothing variation - 10

More weapon and armor models - 2

Improved mount animations - 2

Dismemberment - 2

Inclusion of auto-attack - 1

More hair variance for all races - 6

More quickbar for abilities - 1
More Dual-wield weapon variance - 2
More healing options - 1
More potions - 1
The option to dye weapons and armor - 2

Consistent male/female animations (option to chose male/female animation regardless of gender) - 7

Optional silent protagonist - 2

Option to modify PC after prologue - 2

Any bug fixes should be number one. That said, but put me down for more casual clothing.

New Ballroom outfits, particularly for females, could most certainly be added to the list.

I'm also massively for the currently listed items, though I am not beyond paying for a vanity pack personally.

Obviously. I'm assuming that is the devs' priority. This is a thread for things that we want.

Qunari hair obviously.

A means to change that ugly Skyhold outfit.

More armor and weapon models (could always use more :D)

Improved mount animations (those horses moved a bit...oddly).

Just to begin with.

Good love scenes

Why would you ask something you haven't seen yet to be patched?

Light sabers

Not sure if serious?   :bandit:

Qunari hair

Casual clothes

Ballroom clothes

Normally I wouldn't pay for DLC like this but if they are all bundled together or with other things then I wouldn't mind paying if it can't be fixed in a patch.

One of the huge advantages of computer gaming vs consol gaming is the modding community where many of things the community wants are added before developers get around to it and supported long after the developers stop working on a project. There are still new mods being made for DA:O.

For these type of "wants" the community has i support BioWare making a patch for them but I also think that if these things are REALLY important to you, seriously look into getting this game for the computer. You'll get more of these wants filled by the modding community than you could ever get from bioware.

Without having played the game its impossible to say what things I'd like to be patched.

I might say I want more casual clothes but then as I play the game, come across something that annoys or frustrates me a lot more then the pants suit.

It's too late in the game to add anything new at this stage, so I think I'll leave my suggestions on what needs to be fixed until I play the game, that way I'll have all the data I need to make a judgment.

To reiterate what has been said many times all over this forum, the transition to Frostbite 3 for this game, and the refusal to offer a toolkit to users means mods are going to be very difficult this time around, perhaps impossible - so honestly for the first time, even pc gamers will be relying on bioware to try and fix the little things because modders may never be able to.

Plus, it would be wonderful for everyone to get improvements, not just PC.

Okay, sure, why not. I'll add my lot to those backing more qunari hair variation. The lack of options there is my main complaint.

I add my vote and voice ! And I say the hair thing while needed badly for Qunari , should be also for all race .

I also would like to add (may or may not be needed depand on peoples) :

But so far I saw these : Auto-attack

                                    More quickbar for abilities

                                    Dual wield 2 swords

                                    Healing options

                                    More Potions

The ability or option to Dye gear

I'd like to add another one that I don't really think will happen but its something that I forgot to put it in my last post. Better animations for the Inquisitor what I mean is like walk and run cycles for the Female PCs or fixing the cinematic scenes to at least match up with the female animations as well as the male animations instead of defaulting to male. I'm doubtful this is something that can be fixed in a DLC or patch but I'm putting it up anyway and hoping I actually made sense instead of rambling.

I'm still hoping that, at the very least, meshes/textures can be modded. =/ Bleh, anyway.

More Qunari hair/hair and horns on separate sliders.

More medium-length (shoulder length at least, if not longer) hair for all. So far I've only seen one that fits this, and even then it looks kinda sparse on one side. Not everyone likes super-short or tied-up hair ('meh' to realism :P). Long hair would be amazing, but as the developers freak out over a little clipping, it's not likely to ever happen ('meh' to clipping! I just want my characters to look how I want them!)

Casual outfits. At least more colours even if there are no new styles.

Ballroom outfit that looks like it belongs in a ballroom. Again, at least optional colours if nothing else (red looks terrible on my characters).

+1 for the qunari hair slider separation, and the armor in skyhold.

Though these two could be compounded with their connected issues rather than made as separate ones

I would do anything for the option to use the male animations on a female Inquisitor. My militant Templar has no reason to be doing that awful runway strut in full plate.

  • More consistent male/female animation (ability to switch from female to male animation)
