Bought an xbox one, but that wasn't due to DA:I (the witcher 3). I will buy DA:I for the xbox one, though. No question about it.
I bought an Xbox One just so the relationship I had with my television would intensify. Playing games like Dragon Age: Inquisition and The Witcher III was a bonus.

Not much apart from buying a new computer (i7 4790K, GTX980, 8GB RAM, 250GB SSD) but that was bound to happen sooner or later anyhow seeing as my old one was reaching 4 years old. I considered taking vacation time for Nov 21st and Nov 24th but seeing as I have a wife and a 30 months old daughter those two days wont make a lot of difference anyway. If Bioware's estimation of a 150 hour completion time for a completist playthrough are correct I estimate that I wont have finished DAI until sometime around the beginning of March next year,
You, sir, have excellent taste.
I bought myself a toilet that acts as a gamer seat.
I'll be playing this naked from head to toe.
Don't forget the courtesy flush
This is so "last gen"... Why didn't you go w/ the X99 chipset and DDR4 RAM bro?
Future proof fail.
hahaha because I wanted the mark 1 motherboard

Well, it wasn't exactly ONLY for DAI, but I bought a PS4 earlier this year (back when there was no delay) and a new (bigger) TV recently. So, yeah. Let's just say I was keeping the thought "Inquisition will look SO good on this" in mind when I bought both of these things. ![]()
My body is ready and so is my living room. BRING IT! ![]()

I have personally sacrificed over 100 gingers to the Elder Gods in hopes of attaining a early copy of DA:I but, sadly it has yet to come to fruition. I should of used virgins sigh, now I'm looking at life in prison damnit.
I'm sure like 3 or 4 human sacrifices would have done the trick

Or one "Forced Gender Reassignment" on a goat.
^ If anyone has or in fact hasn't seen the music video to that song... please...
... go right ahead and watch it.
Note: Video not on youtube, can be found in reaction videos or among the bowels of the internet.
Note x2: It's not performed on a goat. I added that so that people wouldn't report me for abuse.
Edit: I realise that it would come under abuse anyway.
PS. Save The Goats!

I've brought an Xbox one and downloaded EA Access so I can play the game 5 days early. Just waiting to see what content or length of time we get to play with.

Ok, I'd be jelly except I know I'd spend 3 hours in CC alone
...so, I guess I can wait for the full version.

I bought a new video card. Not really new, but the best I could manage on a tiny budget and tinier power source- the recommended Radeon HD 7870. Next thing to go is probably the power supply if I really need it.

My 6-year-old gaming PC is not really upgradable at this point, and with DA:I and The Witcher 3 coming out within 3 months of each other, I decided it was time for a new one! I considered buying a PS4 because it would be much cheaper, but I'm absolutely hopeless with controllers, I can't even walk straight. I'm trying to put together a PC build right now, but it's my first time building a PC myself (husband built my last one) and I'm having a hard time keeping the price down
I keep wanting to add better and better parts!

I was just hired at my company so I only have 3 days of PTO, and used one for the 21st so I could have a 3 day weekend; I will also be switching around my workout schedule to mornings so I can play first thing after work (and I'm not a real early bird; kudos to everyone who is!). Told husband that on nights where it's my turn to cook that I'm calling takeout for him, and HEAVILY encouraged him to get GTA V for our Xbox One so he will be occupied for a week and not interrupt my game time (I swear we have a great marriage). Was considering skipping out on my family's Thanksgiving plans but I think that's taking it a bit too far :/

On the advice on some of the gamers at this site I've updated my pc to win 7 64 bit. (I had a win 7 32 bit OS before). I had to have professionels i.e. the store I bought my computer upgrade it - cost me 150 US dollars. However, it was worth it. My computer have never performed better than now....
Interestlingly enough, very old games like Sherlock Holmes: Mystery of the Mommy will install and play onn win 64 bit. Newer games like DA: Origins will not install at all on win 7 64 bit, the same goes or Oblivion and NWN2. Luckily these games do not cost much to buy today.....so I've decided to buy the best online versions of them.....

Sometimes. But more often than not PC gamer's are pretty helpful towards one-another; constructive criticism can often be misunderstood with fighting.

Watching just about every video that is on You tube showing footage of the game and looking at my computer specs. I want to upgrade my video card however every time at look at New Egg and the video cards I then look at my bank account and reality sets in. So now i am reduced to begging: all you guys that are upgrading to the greatest video cards to run the game at Max if you don't know what to do with a medium level video card, I will put it to good use ![]()

Um...buying the game.
Maybe, MAYBE going to the midnight release so I can install, then play the next day straight after work.
I thought about taking a day off, but certainly never considered it. I don't need entertainment that bad.
Edit: And about the PC specs, you guys should see AC Unity.

I'm not a big fan of Ubisoft at the moment, and besides: I could not cheat on Bioware. ![]()
