well i bought 2x GTX970 cards to put in my rig and i am taking just over a week off to play the game.

You must remember to work really hard in order to leave a permanent ass print in your new couch. I will be ashamed and embarrassed if you do not succeed. You cannot put me through that pain.
For months I was planning DAI to be the first game I'd play on ps4 but then Shadow of Mordor came out of nowhere and forced my hand and it was well worth it. I also saved up and got a better TV for my gaming before I got a ps4 since the old monitor I'd been using wasn't going to cut it. Other than Mordor I haven't purchased a new, full priced game so its still going to be a big day for me. If the multiplayer is as solid as ME3's, this could be my game of the forever since the singleplayer looks ace. So hyped!!!!!!
I still haven't played SoM since my old rig couldn't run it. And now that i've finally upgraded I'm thinking about waiting until Inquisition since it's only a few weeks away. I've heard amazing things about SoM though.... definitely on my to-do list.

Sounds like we are all cracked out on this game lol the hours before its release will be the longest hours of my life well at that moment anyways lol

... My PS4 has gone untouched for 2 weeks.
Mine has sat largely unused for months. Got it for my birthday back in April, but I had only planned on upgrading to PS4 specifically for DAI. I've poked at Thief and AC IV: Black Flag a bit, but meh. Played Destiny a little, and still meh. That PS4 is meant for DAI and it seems attempts at playing any other game on it are failing at the moment.
So, it's sitting in standby mode as I binge myself on more ME3MP on my PS3 until Nov. 18...
No crazy sacrifices here, really. I already have time off, which was super easy because vacation time around Autumn is not hard to get and my boss is awesome. I bought my PS4 back in March, so that's all set and I've played a few games to get used to the new controller (switched from Xbox). My SO knows how much I love the DA games, so he'll do his own thing and make me stuff to eat and let me know when it's ready so I can pause the game to have a quick meal. It's actually a pretty ideal situation here.

I got the white PS4 with Destiny. That game sucks and the other games I have, there is very little reason to go back and play them. I'm just waiting on some good RPG's to give the console some life as well as games like Dying Light, The Division, The Order 1886 among others. Right now, the console seems to be going to waste.

You think Destiny sucks? Wow you're the first person I've heard that from lol. I haven't played it myself beause I haven't invested in a next-gen console.

Yes, the library is very disappointing so far. I have my eye on The Order 1886 as well.
But considering how many hours DAI's SP is said to be, all the replay potential of different Inquisitors/choices/romances, PLUS now there is DAMP which - if it is anything like ME3MP - will suck my soul essence out through my eyeballs and leave my husk its eternal slave... honestly, I don't see a reason to even have a PS4 library at this point. That DAI disc ain't leaving my console for a very, very, VERY long time.

Got an Xbox One for DAI - I mean, I was going to get one anyway, but I probably wouldn't have picked it up until next year if DAI wasn't coming out, as there isn't anything else I'm particularly desperate to get yet (having said that, I've been enjoying Destiny quite a lot - been playing it alongside re-playing DAO and DA2 ready for DAI).
I've also booked a week off work, since I had enough days to do so and I couldn't carry them all over into next year. Not that I would have anyway; I booked the holidays as soon as the release date was announced (and rebooked once it was moved lol), and was always planning to take the time off. I can't wait.

I work at a gym actually, and workout 6 days week. When I get this game on that hectic day, my body WILL be ready.
