Biggest Gameplay Feature that You'll have to get Used to?

Based off of what we know about Inquisition to this point, what is the biggest feature or mechanic that you feel you'll have the hardest time adjusting to or playing with?

For me it's probably going to be the fact that it seems like many levels are going to have monsters, dungeons, and treasures that likely wont be able to be experienced at the level you first enter those areas. I have a habit in RPG games of wanting to clear out every area/zone/level I enter, one at a time. Doing everything I can in the zone and then moving on to the next and basically forgetting about the past one. I just don't like having to take notes about all the things I'm missing and not doing in areas, so that I'd have to come back to them at a later time. I'm afraid I'll forget about some stuff I've had to pass over and will end up missing out on experiences.

Please note, I'm not complaining about it. I can see how it makes the world more immersive and believable, Its just something that will take me some time to get used to when I'm playing DA:I

Clicking each time I have to attack when I'm not in "Tactical Camera" though I assume that's not very difficult learning, given I've tried games where I'm mashing my mouse anyway.

Nothing else, really.

Of all the things I've heard, the no auto-attack seems like the biggest hurdle. Pressing that button will be a constant reminder of a very non ergonomic decision ( no to use some derogatory word).

This. Auto-attack not being auto is going to be a ****** to get used to.

Yeah, the auto-attack thing. Or more likely being in tactical mode 100% of the time in battles.

Meh it is not that bad. There are some advantages to this style of gameplay for PC.

If you play games like Vindictus and Monster Hunter then you will basically have some experience with controls like this.

On Topic:

I will have to say it will be the limited amount of healing options since I'm too use to games that allow me to have plenty of healing options.

Tactical camera will probably take some getting used to... it seems awkward compared to the old radial menu.

It seems like this time that it is all but necessary to take a balanced party of 1 Warrior 1 Rogue and 1 Mage. I usually take whoever makes sense story wise but the higher difficulty and no healing make it seem un-plausible

Do we know if you can simple hold down the button?, like you can with the controller setup, cause that's not too bad.

I also think the lack of healing options will take some time for me to get used to. In most games I play I'm used to hoarding away potions. In DA:O I think I ended the game, after the Archdemon, with over 50 lesser poultices and 20 or so regular and greater poultices. I'm used to being sparing with them, that's not going to be the problem... the problem is that I'm so used to hoarding them away that I know I'm going to regularly forget to stock up each time I return to camp.

Well...I personally do not like auto-attack . But I support it none the less for peoples who need it (due to disability or others) .

That said....I think for me , it would be the Hoarding !! *Shake fist* Damn ya Skyrim!

But yeah , if we get little loot , not many potions.....I wanna hoard but can't .  :(

No healing options is the obvious one.

Actually using the crafting system and micromanaging combat will also take some getting used to. Both are touted as optional, but seem rather necessary.

Probably healing and the tactical camera.

Good changes, IMHO, but will need some getting used to.

You can hold it down (it being mouse button or KB key).

Limited potions, not something I'm particular happy about it.

getting used to the new combat and controls. I will get used to them, but as with every game it takes time getting used to the control and how the game plays.

Having to be a bit smarter about combat, I guess. I've grown complacent (which sounds way better than 'lazy').

Switching over to the ps4 controls. I played DA:O and DA2 on the pc :P But there are exclusives for the ps4 that my husband wants, and my computer can barely run it past the minimum specs... so... ps4 it was!

Other things... I'm really only going to have to pay attention a bit more. I usually play a mage that's a spirit healer, so 'limited potion lesson 101'. And I'm gonna be getting lost rather frequently :P Yay for maps. I imagine I'll be running into things that are gonna hurt me bad! I'm looking forward to it.

Hm, probably the limited number of potions and having to rely more on buffs instead, as I tend to ignore buffs. That or the 8 ability limit, but then again I rarely used more than 5-8 abilities regularly. Even though I have some reservations there, I don't foresee it being a terrible adjustment issue, at least not based on what I've seen of gameplay demos. I'll probably be mildly annoyed at first, then adjust after an hour or two of playing.

The gold only thing is a bit odd for DA and might throw me off at first... but considering it's in practically every other fantasy RPG I've played, I won't be surprised if I don't really notice, either.

the 8 ability limit on PC.........so much more limited, and so very obviously picked because of its parity with consoles.

For me, it'll definitely be the lack of healing spells.  I relied on them heavily for DAO and DA2 u_u
