I never look at soundtrack listings ahead of the game.
They can be remarkably spoilerific.
Tracks such as "XXX's death" could be a little more ambiguous.
So I'm going nowhere near this list.

Lord Seeker is an interesting track name there. Do you guys suppose Lambert will be making an appearance?

Probably want to spoiler that.
Not necessarily, though. It's a title, which means that even if said person is dead somebody else will have the title now.

How do you cover quotes in spoiler? I never learned how.

Just add [ spoiler ] [ /spoiler ] around the word (without the spaces).

The only bit that really surprises me is:
Spoiler
Which excites me, if it's genuine.![]()
Considering that we are able to explore Orlais it is not surprising in the slightest. The main capital of Orlais should be available for exploration if we explore the country.

No Ferelden Theme when it's like half of the game?

It's important to bear in mind that this isn't a 'complete OST', it's a selection of tracks arranged probably out of order for dramatic effect.

I just find it weird that they would put an Orlais Theme, but not a Ferelden one.

I kind of get the impression (rightly or wrongly) that most of the plot actually takes place in Orlais. With the exception of the Haven/Skyhold thing, which is on the border, and the Hinterlands, most of the main action will likely take place in Orlais. Bear in mind that the only Ferelden area we know is plot-related so far is the Hinterlands, and that both the Storm Coast and the Fallow Mire seem to be entirely optional areas. (Crestwood still unknown). The major plot threads all seem to be Orlais-based too (civil war, elven uprising, the Warden base is also there in the Western Approach).

Plot threads has nothing to do with having a theme or not, it's ambient music for areas. About half of the areas of the game are in Ferelden.

I know. My point was that this OST is clearly aiming to be a kind of 'core' story movie-like OST, not a complete one, and thus I'd assume the selected tracks are probably supposed to represent aspects of the core path and key story moments rather than the general ambience of the game. from the track names, for example, I assume a lot of them might be cutscene tracks.

I'd just sort of begun to write off the possibility of visiting a major city in Inquisition, with its focus on exploring these larger wilderness areas, and if there was one I was expecting it to be Halamshiral.Considering that we are able to explore Orlais it is not surprising in the slightest. The main capital of Orlais should be available for exploration if we explore the country.

If you managed to look at any of the art book leaks from the past month, then some of those track titles make it so you can pretty easily start piecing together the plot, especially since it seems like the track titles might be in somewhat chronological order.

You know reading through some of these the plot for this game looks rather...grim

Well if its anything like the soudtrack in Origins and DA2 I won't hear 90% of the songs and the ones that do play will make sure to do it extra loud and during times when I'm trying to listen to the companions or other people talk.
