Ultimate Sacrifice...
Did you or did you not let your Warden die in Origins. Well, I did. But not because I wanted to. I did it simply out of curiousity. I wanted to see the outcome of that choice. Only one playthrough did I choose that route. The rest of my games, my Warden lives.

I did it only one time but after seeing it, I had to reload a save before the Archie fight because it was so terrible sad.

I was going to for my male human mage,but then the achievement came out of nowhere after l loaded a previous file.
I've only done it twice.
After the first time I told myself I would never do it again because it was so heartbreaking (especially with the Ultimate Sacrifice mod if you romanced Alistair). Over time I deleted that save.
But with DA:I on the horizon I forced myself to make the sacrifice in a new play through. And it was just as heart-wrenching as the first time! Tears are in my eyes the entire time.
I've done the US several times, including my first playthrough, a female DE.

I know Risi... but that's the beauty of it, imho. The game allows to experience different levels/types of emotions from the decision that you make. It made me love the Origins so much more because of it.

I let two of my wardens die. A Dalish fem elf and a female city elf. Alistair only died once, Loghain 3 times. All the rest of the plays everyone lived 
I let my Warden die only once and I'll never do it again because of Awakening (it's weird to play as a zombie...).
The funeral was pretty though...
My canon Warden is fondly referred to as 'Poor Dead Surana'.

If you play on PC, there's a solution to import a dead warden into Awakening and play it with an orlesian warden while keeping the choices made during Origins

With my one dead warden, after the funeral she sat up, Alistair asked how this happened and my warden said "I think Morrigan saved me" Never been able to duplicate this...
Now I feel like such a wimp after seeing how many of you had the nerve to try it. I never got up the gumption.
Nope. Never tried it and never will. I love my Wardens too much to kill any of them. If I don't do the DR, Loghain eats it instead.
I have done it a few times but I find it interferes with my lust for world domination. Seriously though I enjoy making Loghain the hero and give him the kill shot. I believe in redemption.

I thought I had, but I don't remember seeing scenes like those so maybe I didn't! Now that I think of it, I think I only finished two playthroughs. My first Warden was already romancing Morrigan so the dark ritual was easy. Then my mage was a selfish jerk so again, even though he wasn't romancing Morrigan, a beautiful woman was offering sex and he took it. I know I played every Origin and at one point I overplayed the game and got bored with the sameness of the missions each time. I got pretty far into one of my dwarf playthroughs. I might go back to it. Inquisition and the Keep beta are renewing my interest.
