My main Warden usually makes the Ultimate Sacrifice. I could say that due to her City Elf Origin she doesn't like the idea of forcing Alistair to sleep with someone he doesn't want to sleep with, or that she felt it was 'her duty as a Grey Warden', but really it all comes down to the fact that Alistair spent the whole battle dead then claimed he should get to take Archie down because 'he was king' (he was so not king). I picked the option that said, "I took down that Archdemon, I should get to kill it!" then my Warden just chopped it's head off. I was like, "Oh, okay...I guess my Warden dies." lol.

The funeral was so sad, I cried like a baby  :crying: ... until I saw my Warden blinking. I couldn't take the scene seriously after that XD

Wow! I never thought of creating something like that for any given character....wickedly brutal I say. And at the same time, like you said, curious how the world state will be. Interesting...wickedly brutal...but interesting. Perhaps I should say, interestingly wickedly brutal.

:o

First run will be my 'canon' Female Surana/Snarky Ladyhawke.  I have 4 other states, one of which is the 'fubared' one.  Hoping I will eventually work toward it, even if it's too broken for me to try to attempt to run.  In it, I destroyed Redcliffe, killed Connor, sided with the werewolves.  I also 'killed' Leliana so curious to see what (if anything) she has to say about it.

Haha that is right up there with me seeing cailan moving around where he was hung in Ostagar.  I was like. "Hey aren't you suppose to be dead? OMG the king lives!!!!"

Dang!...I've never had those in any of my playthrough. Would love to experience it though. Maybe when I started playin' again.

Just the one time same as q0j0p out of curiousity . In my universe's the hero always survives and gets his girl/guy depending on who I'm playing . Even my Shepard draws that telling breath .

Really really! My Warden was totally blinking XD it made it even funnier when Alistair looked straight at her and didn't notice smiley12_zps1mpx6bqd.gif Bugs like that made Origins so much fun, like the time my mage Warden killed the Archdemon with his mind lol.

My dwarven warden, known -- with affection by some, whispered trepidation by others, as Agor "The Axe" Brosca -- made the ultimate sacrifice. Leliana loved him, and he loved her; he even bought her a Nug for a pet, though he couldn't stand the squeaky little pests... but it wasn't enough. All he ever wanted was to be remembered for doing something great, and decapitating Beraht only ever mattered to the people of Dust Town.

He was my only warden who made the sacrifice, and he was one of my favorites.

Anyway is really hard to belive that in 2000 years the warden didnt find anything to destroy the archedemons without the US ,somthing like the soul gem in the elder scrols series, to imprison the soul of the archedemon, or use a disciple of the darkspawn to destroy them, really very hard to belive.

I've finished the first playthrough of the game and I did NOT make the ultimate sacrifice...luckily. I didn't want to also. Not because I liked my main character but because I hate Ferelden and it's people. Especially because of the way the elves and mages are treated. I will play the game again , few more times to experience all the origin stories and I will NEVER sacrifice my warden. I hope there was another option in the end where the main character suddenly decides that he doesn't want to save Ferelden from the Archdemon and leaves  Ferelden forever. Now that would have been one interesting ending.
