I have been noticing for a bit but have not seen anyone mention it but did Cassandra and Josephine get redesigned faces? In some screens they both have very sunken checks but in others their faces are more "normal". Another thing is Josephine for example appears to have different face texturing in screens. Look at Josphine's face in her profile pic at Dragon age wikia then look at her face in the gallery pics below that and a huge difference is obvious. I cant see this just being a lighting/angle issue? Same goes for some pics of Cassandra. Personally I like the more normal faces. where the designs changed and I didn't notice it being mentioned or am I imagining it?

Their design was reiterated during the course of game development. Their fundamental artistic design for both characters are unchanged.

They've gotten a fair amount of reworking, and that's something that's happened in every iteration of a Bioware game. The same happened to Ashley before she got a face model, and to Shepard before they got Sheploo.
For Josephine lighting is a factor and we know that from when the original picture on the website was released. Otherwise her features look pretty similar. Cassandra and her got a bit of reworking done around the eyes, but that's all I can see.

I recall reading something about Josephine's hair being changed to match her Card, though I've no idea beyond that.

Like the lower left one, kinda wish they would put a DLC skin in the game to make her look like she does in DA: Dawn of the Seeker.

She's like 20 years younger in Dawn of the Seeker. She wouldn't look the same.

Long-haired Cassandra would be quite a sight in the FB3 engine, though there would be issues with clipping and such so I doubt it would happen. I can imagine Cass would say something along the lines of "Long hair is pretty, but impractical. I'd rather be alive and a bit messy than literally drop-dead gorgeous."

Actually there were plenty of long-haired warriors in the past, so it's a bit of a myth that short hair is a necessity for melee combat. The Spartans are probably the most famous example.

It's definitely not just you. I think she is a very attractive character and progressively becomes more beautiful with each touch-up. I am very impressed with her design and my inquisitor can't wait to romance her.I honestly think Cassandra gets more attractive with every picture, but maybe that's just me.
Edit: Nope not just me, this is Cassandra at various points throughout the development process:

Character appearances are never set in stone, as we've seen through the Dragon Age games.
It is normal also for character appearances to get tweaked through the course of the development cycle.

Eh, female characters got a tad prettified to be more attractive. Nothing new

Who say's short hair isn't drop dead gorgeous? Not me.
It's not just Cass and Josephine who've been tweaked, though, Sera has changed a small amount but noticeably between versions, particularly in the shade and exact shape of her hair.

I think Josephine just looks different because of the different hairstyle she has now, can't notice much difference.
For Cassandra I think she definitely has gone through changes. Could be the lighting, but she appears to be a lot paler now (
) and her face is shorter and square. I personally liked her best in that trailer where she threatened the inquisitor.

That is her cinematic look, at least, her latest cinematic look. So naturally, it will look better than the in-game ones.

Didn't realize they changed her eye color (see lower left). I have to say I really don't like what we currently have (or what I've seen in the last twitch vids. I doubt it will change much at this point though.

Here's hoping its just a bug, like how Leliana had brown eyes in a few pictures some time ago.

The issue I have with her now, and I've seen this in all the vids and twitch feeds, is that she looks like she's made of plastic. I keep thinking to myself that they just haven't loaded her final skin texture yet, but she still has that talking mannequin look. I do hope they fix it as it is REALLY bad right now.
