Based on what combat we have seen, Which style of fighting will you try first? Will you stick to your usual style of fighting or will you adjust? Has the combat shown changed your view on how to approach fights?

Personally I would normally be a 2H warrior or a Dual wielding rogue, but after seeing many fights.... I am thinking of going with ranged. I have always loved archery, so first up will no doubt be an archer!

i was planning to make an archer, but I always play dwarven female first and I am romancing Sera. I could make Sera daggers, but then there is perfect Harding who may be a bit too similiar lol.

I was originally leaning towards the Knight Enchanter for a best of both worlds type of combat - but - ever since I read the snippet about the rogue tempest I can't keep the feral grin off my face .. Hard learning curve no doubt but I will love every minute, not including a few rage induced deaths no doubt.

Two-handed male Qunari with a heart of gold. They are just misunderstood creatures.

Probably be warrior or mage, archery doesn't feel right if I can't free aim myself..

I prefer ranged, but I haven't seen any really impressive long-distance kills that are what I go into it for.
It's not ranged until I can kill three people before the rest of their party realizes where I am.

In DA2 I got my archer standard attack to render between 1000 and 2000 points of damage per shot. Best playthrough ever, plus the assassinate ability would render around 10000. I'm going with archer assassin as I did in DA2 and I'm hoping the abilities in the assassin tree hasn't changed too much. So ranged for me, it is just to good to pass up especially if you spec right.

2handed warrior is my first file, probably going to be a dual wielding rogue after that, but i might try an archery rogue, i have to see the tech trees before i can decide.

Little cliche, but I'm going Elf/Archer. I had been thinking about it, and then playing Shadow of Mordor and seeing Celebrimbor solidified it for me. I know the similarities are here and there, but meh.... it was enough for me.

I'm going with Knight Enchanter so that I can have access to both.  ^_^

In previous DA games, I greatly prefered melee PCs when playing as a non-mage, but in the past we were also able to whip out a bow if the situation demanded it... since that's no longer the case, I'm not sure which one sounds more appealing.  I think maybe archery sounds better... I'll tell you right now that I'm a bit nervous about letting my rogue allies wield daggers since they don't have the ability to generate Guard.  When I finally get around to playing as a rogue, I might go with an archer just to be on the safe side...

I've always played Two-Handed Warriors, but Archery Rogues look too fun to pass up this time.

The artist intended for this to be a dwarven archer.

Unless I can duel weild swords(don't tell me I can't because I already know that), I don't care much about melee. First will be mage and archer next.

I likely will play a 2h warrior sometime but probably won't touch s/s or dw rogue.
