Am I the only guy who thinks Krogans are kind of cute?

Also, I agree with Stormwreaver that the inconsistency gets pretty bad. In cutscenes we've seen krogan get taken down sometimes with just one shot from a pistol (might had been an SMG, though, can't remember). Cutscene krogan are pretty damn weak. In the animated movie however a krogan is seen surviving getting shot in the head and everything else. Its like they can't make up their mind if krogan are these unstoppable killing machines that soak up bullets or just big angry frogs that drop over after a few pistol shots. Maintain consistency, damnit.

Because that's what happens in Cutscenes... +97979489 Plot Armor for Shepard and Crew

Also, just a side note... Grunt is the only Krogan who has Blue Eyes... The others has yellow and other colors.

Yes but it seems to me that it effects the krogan the most. A human being OHK'd in a cutscene yet soaking up bullets in the game doesn't mean much. Afterall, maybe he had his shields down or something. Humans aren't made in the narrative to be super tough killing machines. Krogan are the ones who get that honor. A cutscene where a human dies easily is nothing compared to a cutscene where a krogan dies easily. Krogan in the lore are to be insanely dangerous. Look at the widow, perhaps the single most heavy-hitting sniper in the game... its purpose is for fighting armored vehicles or krogan. The same rifle used to take out tanks is what is recommended for taking out krogan. Thane, a trained professional assassin's alternative method for taking out Krogan? Explosives.

The krogan hospitals had to be reinforced and built to withstand damage because of how ferocious blood rage can make krogan. Time and time again the narrative points out to us that the krogan are insanely dangerous combatants. Then a cutscene comes along bang, krogan goes down with one shot of a small arm. At least when the cutscene magic works on other races it isn't so hugely inconsistent. Being tough in the gameplay and weak in cutscenes is a whole different matter from being tough in the lore yet weak in the cutscenes.

I love the Krogan they are probably my favorite race in the ME universe, both Wrex and Grunt are badasses in their own ways but I would not use the word "cute" to describe them.

And according to your email spam they're very well endowed too. I prefer the Asari but what red blooded ME fan with a thing for females doesn't right?

The asari are disgusting primitives who deserve to be ousted from the Citadel Council.

Shields down... Hmmm.. Yes, I haven't considered it, TBH. But it does happen often...

Also, I just remembered something from the book that said that if he fires close enough, the Kinectic Barrier (Shield) won't even come up...

But about the Krogan... Yeah...

I love me some Krogan.  One of the things that I didn't like in ME3 is no Krogan or Batarian squad mate.  I would love to think they would really change with Wrex in charge and the genophage cured but even my love for them can't blind me to that truth.

FemShep "So how were those noodles?"

Grunt "Kinda spicy"

FemShep "I love you Grunt"

This exchange almost brought tears of joy the first time I heard it.  It was exactly what I would have said to.

Even Male Shepard can say it. Good times.

I wish Grunt was a squadmate again. I get why Wrex is busy doing war chief things but Grunt is supposed to be a part of the Normandy Krant. Shepard is the battlemaster. Come tear stuff up with me Grunt, just like the old days. I hate batarians but ME3 offered a great opportunity to have one as a squadmate. Still, no Grunt? Why? I don't care how big and muscled Vega is, he is no substitute for Grunt. ME2 gave us like a dozen squadmates yet in ME3 you can have as little as three.

Fine, fine, it's bound to make an appearance at some point in this thread, might as well get it over with:

mordin___me3_spoilers_by_zombie_fingers-

Kinda morbid, though, when you consider how many were born without spinal cords because of him before he had his change of heart.

Krogan? Cute? You are indoctrinated... well... there is Grunt. He is kind of cute I guess, but as a race? No.

I love the Krogan. They're like giant armoured sharks, with limbs for holding guns. The last word I'd use to describe them though is cute. Well, maybe their tails. The tails are kinda cute.

Also, Grunts crush on Liara.
