I know we get a dragon and Avar barbarians, but can we talk some giants into signing their life away for the inquisition?
Will Giants join the inquisition?

In One of the trailers the Inquisitor can be seen approaching a giant peacefully.

I hope so, in fact I hope that we can have the option of recruiting more than just the giants though.
I want my Inquisition to be comprised of Giants, Sylvans, Werewolves, Golems, Varterral, Giant Spiders, Awakened Darkspawn Etc. Not only because these things are cooler than a human, dwarf, elf, or qunari, but also because out of all the sentient creatures on Thedas, these 'non-human' monsters have done the least amount of world threatening damage to it; and not in an environmentalist way either.
Which species rips open the Veil to let demons in more often? Which species engages in massive blood sacrifices to fuel their magic?
Giants and spiders might not be the nicest things in Thedas, but you never have to worry about one of them opening a portal to hell now do you?

In Skyrim there was supposed to be a way to communicate with giants (they're the closest thing to Atmorans after all) and recruit them for your side in the Civil War, but that quest got cut. I don't see why an Inquisitor who has gone through the pains of learning how to communicate with them can't recruit a clan or two.

In Skyrim giants looked like extremely tall people, and they had an small level of inteligence. Giants as far as I saw in Inquisition just seem to be wild beasts.

I am hoping for a potential army composition to at least match DA:O Battle for Derium in terms of unit/racial composition.
I really, really, really, really, really, really don't want to see only humans running around doing everything if I am specifically recruiting non-human aid. Being able to see Dwarf, Elf, and Quanari forces moving about would be nice, but if I went through the trouble of enlisting a Giant tribe to help in the fight against the Elder One, I would hope to at least see one Giant milling about with my regular troops.
*Side note: I also really, really (you get the idea) hope that we aren't forced into being psychotic evil just to recruit such creatures. I should not always have to burn a Dalish Clan to the ground or impale babies on spikes if I want to get the help of these various creatures.

Can't judge a book by it's cover. The Inquisition has resources. Why not allocate some for the study of giants. Maybe they have a language and culture like the giants from Skyrim and High Rock. If they do then they can be recruited and I don't think I'll have to explain to anyone how useful it would be to have 40 or so giants as allies of the Inquisition.

And if they're not intelligent, we can train them as animals.
