After watching the DA FAN CC video, I think the hair is not so bad. Sure more diversity would be nice but compare to DA:O, the CC is excellent.
Diversity compared to DA:O on the PC is of course pathetic.

My Hawke and my Inquisitor will probably be sporting the same hairstyle in different shades of "dark." They can fight amongst themselves about who wears it better.
I have to say the hair looks a lot better in the recent videos, so I have to take back what I said about the technical quality. The styles are as bad as ever though. To see someone actually use one of those super-ugly ones is painful.
To be perfectly honest after watching this
I'd just like to say I'm not one who complains at all... But I hate most of the hairstyles and can tolerate only like 2 of them? Honestly I prefer all of these hairstyles on females by miles, whether feminine, tomboyish or even in between... Males on the other hand... *edited out because too harsh*
I guess I'll try to work around that, but hair styles (for males especially) need to be worked on >.> Some of us don't have buzzcuts, half cut hair (for lack of better term) or grow our hair that much <.<
Good find. So the darker colors are better textured (from what I can tell). I won't have any blonde Inquisitors but can live with this. I know what I will be sporting on my first Inquisitor.

I have the same impression. The hair on Angry Joe's dark-haired Inquisitor looks good, even though his taste in style is atrocious, but Scout Harding's hair still looks like plastic.
I really don't get the long hair issue. For one thing, many of those hairstyles are what I would consider long. For another, any longer and they would be a complete hinderence in combat situations. Sometimes, personal preference just doesn't matter. I would have a problem with hairstyles that are longer than those included, because they use the PC hairstyles for general NPCs, so there would be a ton of random bandits with long hair that anyone could grab in a fight to toss them around.
I get that people want their Inquisitor to look like them, and that they may have longer hair, but if you were to be in your Inquisitor's position, you would cut it, or tie it back. Even if you tied it back, it would still be a problem, especially if a rogue flanks you.

It's a time of war and strife, I think hair styles is the least of their concerns...
Yeah pretty disappointed in the hairstyles, limits the customization between my Inquisitors. Not many hairstyles for women most of the hair cuts were masculine, there were more and better options in DA2- wonder why they didn't copy some of those ones.

Yea, i wasn't thinking Scout Harding's hair, but at least the darker textures don't look like straw and some of the hairs actually look like hair. That video has gone a long way to easing some of my concern.
I just wish the lighter colored textures were as good a quality as the darker. My 'canon' Hawke has strawberry blonde/ginger colored hair. She's going to have to go a couple shades darker for Inquisition, but I can live with it I think.
Good thing my Hawke had black hair, I suppose? To be honest, the only hair I can possibly stomach for Females is this one:

I just can't stand any of the others. As for males, I have no idea. all of them feel off. I might as well pull an Shepard and sport an buzzcut.
I even don't ask for long hair I just want back mah braids for elfs and many tied pigtails hairstyles like these options:
If this hairstyles worked in previous games then it should work in this one too :< and If Josephine and Leliana can have nice hair then my Inq should too! *pray to Modder's God* I would give heaven for this...
People are always complaining "I want my group to be included", yet whenever I bring up long hair, which I proudly have in real life, and can usually only get it into a game by using mods, there's always an excuse. Where's my representation in gaming, eh? *Kanye shrug*
Yes, I am.Are you being serious? Can't tell.
Yes, I am.
OMG! This is my first time noticing that there's ram-like horns/horn adornments! /screams.
If only there was curly hair for my Qunquisitor. I could've made the saarebas of my dreams. ;_; I don't really care for most of the hairstyles. About 2 short hairstyles and that really neat bun were all I can imagine wanting to look at for the entire game, and that's not even available for Qunari. I think my Qunquistor will just be bald. ![]()

Leliana is wearing a hood. Obviously, she is embarrassed by her bad haircut. ![]()

lol yes! That's what happens when you let Sera cut your hair.

That does seem to be a popular one already. It will probably be my go-to as well. In my view this qualifies as longish. I'm not sure why there aren't more options similar in length and/or style. At least finding one palatable cut is better than 0, I suppose.
Yeah, I'd love hair like my own too, but my hair reaches down to the small of my back, so I doubt that would happen in a Bioware game, at least not in this generation of consoles lol.
As for the ponytail, I think these would look nice:

They could even make it a low bun in that fashion. I just hate high ponytails/buns.
And I would turn to blood magic for a hairstyle like the one in my avatar, here's a bigger picture:

Oh wow, I really like those styles.
Sadly, I guess we just aren't at the place of videogames where we can have nice little things,
but since we get nice big things I suppose I can deal.
Personally, I blame MP ![]()
