Have Bioware ever gotten hair/facial hair right ? If the hairstyles are ok then the beards don't follow the face contours correctly, ect ect.
Look, a much older game on a supposedly 'inferior' engine...
Just ignore the 2 days it took me to get the bloody thing to run....

Is that really from the game? Not just from a pre-rendered cutscene? If so, that's very impressive.
It is from a cutscene but her hair pretty much looks like this during the missions she is in too. That whole game is gorgeous. Like, Porte St. Denis looks so dirty you might get herpes from playing in that area real. Unity had some terrible issues (which I luckily never experienced), but the hair? Fab.

I'm using a mod that removes sideburns, so my lovely mage Inquisitor is wearing the hair in my avatar and looks beautiful! I hope new styles do come out in the future though or can be modded.
Yes, the no sideburns mod is a damn blessing! Sad that we needed a mod for that though.

It would have bee nice if some of the DAO and DA2 styles were carried over to DAI. I liked that one side-swept bangs on shoulder-length hair my Hawke always wore. Sort of like my Inquisitor's, but straighter or if you wanted, there was a choice for wavy hair like her sister's too.

I noticed that even Leliana and Morrigan retained their hair form the previous games, but we can't get those choices ourselves. Leliana's hair during the ball was pretty much the same style used in the other games, but more tamed. Yet if you try and recreate your Hawke from DA2, it's not that easy due to the poor hair choices.

The weird thing is that Anora herself didn't get it either 
We got like 30 "variations" of shaved/bald and like three other hairstyles lol wish we had more.
As someone with long hair, I love that the BSN fights for the representation of people like me in games

Shudder. The only problem I've really had (if you can call a completely aesthetic quibble a "problem") is the textures on the hairstyles, but in the most recent twitter stream and trailer that issue seemed to have improved.
The short hair cut (not the shaved one) is OK IMO, but there's a lot of xenomorph heads there, wouldn't mind the short one for my Qunari Inquisitor
Anyway, at least Inquisition has a lot of the hairstyles for male and female Inquisitors, there were some male Shep hairstyles (mohawk!) which would have looked great on Femshep

That doesn't even make sense, the developers create the hairstyles, not the engine. It is only limited by their artistic ability to draw and model hairstyles, and going by the game, I'm guessing not many people are good at modeling hair lol

I liked that one too. DA2 had lots of hairstyles with bangs. I wouldn't mind not having long hair available in DAI if there were more styles with bangs. Instead it seems to favor ample Inquisitor forehead.
By the way folks, is there any Afro-hairstyles around ? Is there a mod for it ?
This is for my personal character that I self insert as. I have wiry, cury Afro hair and in Elder Scrolls, this just means I have to play as a Redguard. In Dragon Age Origins, they had a this hairstyle that Senior Enchanter Torrin used.
But for DAI, there is no Afro hairstyle at all. The only ones you can have is bald... 
So, generically speaking, can we all agree that, overall, this is the WORST hair selection of any Bioware game??? IMO this selection is craptastic!! If I did my job in this fashion I would be replaced....just sayin'.
Yep. Perhaps it is also due to the fact that this game is built on an engine that is primarily focused on military hairstyles...Battlefield is a military game after all..So that is why the hair styles look terrible...
