I would say Loghain, being that he's my favorite DA character, period, but being that I always recruit him his antagonist status is a temporary one, in my mind.
So the Arishok, then.

I'll say The Archdemon, but I think the Blight in general. I suppose part of that is, there was a very clear end goal in DA:O and I liked the development of the Blight and the Darkspawn. I had assumed that later games would build more on them, more of their origins too.
Perhaps I just didn't pay enough attention in DA2, but I spent too long trying to even understand who was the enemy. It was like a shark jumping the boat, but then an even bigger shark jumped over the first shark, but then an even bigger shark with a rad, glowing red fin jumped over the first two sharks and the boat.
For me, it is Loghain.
He isn't a bad guy, he's just paranoid. If you read the first two DA novels, you get to see a side of him that is decidedly shielded from you for nearly all of Origins. Having dealt with everything he did at the hands of Orlesians, and having his suspicions about them confirmed regarding a certain incident involving Grey Wardens, it's really difficult for me not to have some level of sympathy for him. He is one of those antagonists that is very black-and-white on the surface, but the deeper you delve, the more gray hues you come across. Looking beneath the surface and finding someone who made tough and even ruthless decisions while trying to retain the independence of Ferelden -- a country he had given everything for -- was quite powerful to me, and makes it quite difficult to end his life, given that meta knowledge.
I think he is very well written, I enjoy his VA, and I look forward to meeting him in Inquisition if I can.
Loghain or the Arishok. They were both really, really good.
In Origins, Loghain (story-wise) and Gaxkang (combat-wise). In Awakening, the Architect (story-wise) and the Mother (combat-wise). In II, Corypheus (story-wise) and Knight-Commander Meredith (combat-wise).
