If you want to explain the skin texture, rather than just say its due to bad design, there is very heavy makeup that is sold that can give a (lack of) texture like that. I used to work in a store that carried it. It was called Princess Something-or-the-other (exact name escapes me). It wasn't really a typical makeup-it was quite heavy and good for people with scarring or terrible complexions (due to say, rosacea.). But , it could creat a kind of unnatural smoothness and evenness to the skin-but for the people who used it, they liked the fact it covered up their scars or whatever.

LOL.

Well if I had to choose between:

1)  BioWare is using a very bad skin texture for Leliana, or

2)  Leliana is wearing 'Princess Something-or-the-other' makeup to cover up scars

I think I'll just go with the obvious option 1.

I'm really just asking BioWare to give her a skin texture like everyone else so it doesn't look like she's made out of plastic.  It's just unsettling every time I see her.

Lol, yeah definitely Occam's Razor and all. I just wanted to post that certain types of heavy make ups CAN give skin tone like that so it's not, you know, beyond the realm of possibility.
