Basically what the title says. So far it's Varric because Varric is amazing. With Iron Bull being a close second, I like badass jokester. Cole sounds interesting but I don't know if I like him yet. To be honest the only uninteresting one so far is Cassandra. This is all my opinion obviously.

Varric is honestly my favorite character of DA entirely as a series, 
so I will make this choice without him in mind, because then it wouldn't be fair. 


It's a tie between Iron Bull and Cole. 
They're so different, so it's tough to decide. But once Inquisition releases,
it will be cemented into my brain which one I like more.

I wasn't very keen on Vivienne until I heard her speak. The delivery of her lines and personality were completely different from what I expected and she sounds like she'll offer a very interesting perspective on magic in Thedas.

Leaning towards Vivienne, Sera, Dorian, Josephine and Iron Bull based on descriptions, streams, and fanart. But who knows? I may come out a Cass or Cole fan once I actually get to play.

I really like all that Dorian and Sera and Iron Bull said up to now on every video. Guess that they'll often be in my party.

 

Still, to be honest,it's  Cassandra who sweeps me off my feet as much as Cullen did. Well, I'm a rabid fan girl that squeals every 5 seconds

For me, Varric is a given.  So, I will definitely say that I am on the Cassandra bandwagon because I have an inkling that my inquisitor is attracted to her and the strength she possess.  I also believe, from the remark that she made in DA 2 pertaining what she thought of my champion of Kirkwall fighting with the Arishok one on one for Isabela's honor, that she has a romantic side with the child-like innocence to want to fall in love with the one person that can captivate her heart and is willing to fight without hesitation for her honor.  Well, something like that would be my reasoning as I am quite corny like that in the "hopeless romantic" aspect hahaha.

Varric, Sera, Cass, Iron Bull are on the top of my list right now But if DA:I's gang is as good as DA:O's, I'm sure I will love the whole team.

That guy adds comic relief in a dark fantasy world like no other. He is probably using his humor, charm and chill attitude as an emotional shield in a psychological need to deal with the loss of Bianca - something that at the same time makes him more complex and tragic. He is also a dwarf... with a repeating crossbow and chesthair that could repel dragonfire.

and have him shield bash every threat near my Apostate Mage.

I think my favorite character will be my inquisitor, but otherwise I'm thinking Sera.

Varric because he is the Garrus Vakarian of the Dragon Age universe when it comes to male companions. As for female companions I will hand that over to Sera for the time being since she is the only one we have not met or heard of yet in the Dragon Age series and the Friends of Red Jenny has always been something of an enigma to me. As for advisors I will give it to Leliana instead of Scribbles or Noodles. As for antagonists I have no idea who will be my favorite, but I would love to beat Arch Duke Gaspard de Chalons at the game and play a little more in Orlesian courts.

IDK really most to all of the characters look so awesome that it is hard to decide between all of them.  But in the running are Varric, Sera, Cassandra, Dorian, the Iron Bull, and while I did not think a lot of him to this point recently...well Solas could come out of nowhere and surprise me at the end of the day.  And then Harding looks quite awesome to.
