Nope. I make everyone watch as I run around with that glorious thing on my back.

I know it's possible. I really don't care to remove it. Like running with the package, though that has more to do with the fact that I can't get the timing down and I hate the noise.
Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't . I do it mostly with the Asari (no pun intended).
Hmm, that reply is .. problematic.
Always remove the thing. And since I play almost exclusively Asari, this can be done fast and with style
Who else here plays only characters that can remove the launcher with heavy melee?
after getting rid of it i like to sometimes equip it so it looks like i'm holding nothing and run up to team mates and stare at them for 5 seconds and then fire a missile at them cuz it looks sillies.
How does one do this?!
I do it every time it is possible.
I insiste, "every time it is possible", not "every time i can".
This, lead me to one major complain about ME3 MP ... all maps should have at least one ladder. : ))
How does one do this?!
For most kits, you pull out your launcher, then you switch back to your regular weapon, while the switching animation is occurring, do a heavy melee, and voila, you are now the proud owner of an invisible launcher.
For the kits that doesn't work with (like the Quarians as an example), you find a ladder, and begin the climb animation while switching from your rocket to your weapon
If I can hide it with a heavy melee, always. If it requires a ladder, sometimes.
^It's not always Wave 1, but if it's a ladder map I'll usually get it done at some point - even if it's Wave 9.
I've slowly been able to get some of my non-BSN buddies to start removing their launchers as well seeing as how I do it Every. Single. Match.
I always remove it, my drell looks like he`s about to fall backwards with it.

And for maps that don't have ladders, you use the batarian gauntlet.
Whenever I can, I'll do it, cause it's cool. Also, sometimes I run across the map to a ladder to take it off. Often, I don't remember and then wipe and blame the missile launcher on my back.

Missile launcher blocks your view of everything, you can't see anything till it's gone.
I do sometimes. Other times I forget. I never remember which classes can do it without a ladder, so usually I try it with a melee, and if it doesn't work, I say F-it.
Hmm, I shall give it a go. Can't say I've ever noticed the cobra getting in the way of my view, but I shall give it a whirl!
On maps that don't have ladders, on characters that require a ladder to remove the launcher, I'll do the Heavy-Melee-while-switching-weapons thing even though I know it won't work.
It's a sign of protest against the unfairness of mandatory missile launchers.
Wow I was such a little pug when I made this thread. All these hours later, and we have this:
If you don't hide the missile, then you don't get to sit at the cool kids table.
My QFI was in a match with another quarian on Giant yesterday. At the end of wave 1, there was a queue for the ladder that leads up to the control room.
(As happens half the time when I'm using a ladder for launcher-hiding, I messed the timing up
)

Video was perfect because it synced in with the announcer guy too. "Missile removed. Mission accomplished. Return back to base, Joe."
Been using that glitch every chance I get since the moment I found out about it. I spent a lot of time customizing my characters to make them look JUST. RIGHT. and it always irritated me to see that ugly, awkward and clashing banana on my back.
If I can, do it. I even give up on the right positioning when wave 1 starts sometimes XD
This.
