Dragon Age: Inquisition at PAX Australia

 

 

Attendees at PAX Australia are invited for an exclusive hands on experience with Dragon Age™: Inquisition.

 

Dragon Age™: Inquisition will be playable at PAX Australia on the Xbox One console and PlayStation® 4. Fans of Dragon Age at PAX will be some of the first to experience the 30 minute single-player demo that will focus on the ‘Hinterlands’ area.

 

"The entire BioWare team is delighted to give Australian fans the opportunity to get hands-on with Dragon Age™: Inquisition,” said Mike Laidlaw, Creative Director at BioWare.

 

“Dragon Age™: Inquisition will give players more choice to explore unseen territories, lead the Inquisition through battle and make unique decisions that will define their overall experience. The level of detail built into the game is outstanding and we’re excited to bring our game to PAX Australia and meet our fans.”

 

Located at the EA Community Lounge on Level One of PAX Australia, players will be able to take part in a quest or simply explore the Hinterlands area, providing an unforgettable experience and key insights into what to expect when Dragon Age™: Inquisition is released on 20^th November in Australia. Also at the booth, fans can also pick up their “Proof of Dragon Age Card” and bear the mark of the Inquisition with their own bespoke henna Dragon Age tattoo design. Spaces are limited, so be sure to get there early to secure your spot.  

 

Fans will have the chance to meet special guests from BioWare Edmonton Mike Laidlaw [Creative Director], Aidan Scanlan [Assistant Director of Design] and Mark Wilson [Lead Technical Designer] who will be taking questions during the Dragon Age™: Inquisition Q & A from the audience and Twitter using the hashtag #DAIPAXAUS.

BioWare: Behind the scenes: Join some the BioWare team for an inside look at what it’s like working at BioWare, the history, key insights, stories and the future of the studio. Panelists include our special guests from BioWare Edmonton: Mike Laidlaw [Creative Director], Aidan Scanlan [Assistant Director of Design] and Mark Wilson [Lead Technical Designer].

Dragon Age™: Inquisition Developer Signing: Meet and greet with Mike Laidlaw, Aidan Scanlan and Mark Wilson and have Dragon Age™: Inquisition artwork signed.

Dragon Age™: Inquisition Q&A: BioWare will be taking questions from the audience as well as from Twitter using the hashtag #DAIPAXAUS.

Finally, BioWare will be walking attendees through the evolution of Bioware’s storytelling over the past decade during their panel: “BioWare: Stories You Can Play” at the Wombat Theatre on Friday, 5:30pm – 6:3Opm

yeah convention centre is being reno'd g20 in brisbane so it was either melbourne or the city of churchs or.....................perth.

PAX will be livestreaming panels on their Twitch channel, and given the schedule it's likely they will be livestreaming the Bioware panel (because there is nothing else on at that time).

*edit for clarification - the panel I'm suggesting will be streamed is the "Bioware: Stories you can Play" panel. Not aware of any streaming plans for the EA Lounge panels.
