I happen to be a huge dragon fan , but the only reason i could play origins and dragon age 2 was because people had created mods to replace spiders with mabari or bears in dragon age nexus.

Is it possible that this can be done in dragon age inquisition , please i want to play a spider free game without panic attacks

Whatever they are, they are creepy as ****! I have to give BioWare a lot of credit for creating something so visceral.

Thanks! I put a lot into that one.

Little fact, I'm intensely trypophobic (fear of holes and specific hole patterns). To the point of dry heaving, skin itching and panic suffering. When I first saw the concept I was entranced, like a deer caught in headlights. Making it was definitely....an experience. Nothing like facing your own fears or something along those lines....

You made that!? Wow. Just... wow.

I want to ask you, how do you go about making concept designs for things like this? And I was also hoping maybe you could post some of the early sketches of Blinky (more for myself actually) because I really want to be a concept artist and anything that could help with my own artwork (not going to steal it) would be greatly appreciated. Ofcourse, you don't actually have to do any of that if you don't want too.

Sorry, credit for the conceptual design goes to the concept art team. I believe it was drawn by Casper Konefal. Brilliant artist! I fashioned the sculpt and built the game model, textures and shaders.

Ah. No worry then, I just thought I'd ask. I mean, how often do you get to ask that of someone working on a massive game? Not very often.

True. Always ask. I just don't want any undeserved credit, that should always go to the right people in these cases!

I'm imagining something like this happening:

"I need to make this monster scarier. Would a slimier texture inside the holes increase the gross factor?" *fiddles with computer* "Ack! Ack! Blech! Yes it does!"

Haha! Yes, there was a lot of collaboration on getting the final result. If it didn't make my spine twinge, I wasn't doing it right. Particularly with the eyes-but-not-really-eyes bits..... ;)
