It probably wont, from what I heard they want a complete reset. New characters, new worlds, enemies, new everything.
But I still have a faint hope that there are going to be some sort of information anywhere in the new Mass Effect, that resolves the ending of Mass Effect 3. Someone from Bioware even tweeted that Shepard is alive (breath scene with high-EMS) so Im going to cry like a baby when the next game is going to be like - "what you talkin bout nothin happened". In that case they should have just put all their forces into their new IP in my opinion, because I dont care about a Mass Effect 4(??) that has nothing do with the story of 1-3 then it shouldnt be called Mass Effect tbh

Fixed for you.
Nothing has been said about things like this.

What they actually said was that people want to explore new worlds meet new races and see new areas.
It's still possible that it could be another galaxy entirely. I wouldn't want it to be too referential anyway just some passing dialogue maybe a few things that probably don't make sense to the people living att "If the collectors are real then why hasn't anyone ever seen one before?".

I sort want it to happen. I love the originals but it feels like Bioware trapped themselves in a corner with the choices especially with most of them involving important figures/big events. Like I said sort of want it,but I'm fine if it takes place after 3(with a new ending a mix of the RBG endings to please everyone),but to be honest I don't know what to think of the new game? Besides wanting to working with TIM,and Miranda.

I think they're trying to tell you the last 20 minutes of the game took place in Shepard's mind. It wasn't real.

I think you want to think it says that.

It's pretty clear that the number of options open to Bioware, if they wanted to continue the Mass Effect story, are extensive. For example if you are a male Shepard and romance whoever- Scion of Shepard is an obvious choice. Then there is, as was done in DA, plenty of concurrent tales to be told with or without Spectre contributions during the Reaper wars. Shepard (depending on his choice at the end of ME3) can also re-materialise and continue his adventures. He is certainly overdue for promotion in the Alliance
Personally I'm not bothered either way. As much as I enjoyed playing the trilogy, Bioware pretty much in my view destroyed the whole thing with the ending and there is no real way forward for a Shepard based adventure, in terms of whther I would buy it or not. That's not to say I wouldn't be interested in a totally new concept using the universe that Bioware created but say 200 years later, similar to the Elder Scrolls ethos with Oblivion/Skyrim games

Bioware confirmed that the new ME will have "nods" to the original trilogy, and that it might have some familiar characters.

I'm sure they'll at least reference certain things. Maybe they'll mention the Reapers and Shepard's name, although I hope they just drop that "The Shepherd" stuff right now. But I don't know, hell, this might not even be based in the future - the fact that the Mako's got a redesign would point to it being a sequel over a midiquel or prequel, but then it could also be an alternate timeline. Imo the only way to make it work is to set it so far in the future it doesn't matter whether Shep chose Control or Destroy, and just establish that Synthesis is another alternate timeline since it's the only ending that's so far removed from the others.
Even with the Krogan they could technically handwave it by saying if it wasn't cured they out-evolved the Genophage. Not so sure on the Quarian/Geth situation. I wouldn't be surprised if they canonised either peace or Quarians (or Destroy). I don't know. I can live with them canonising quite a few things, I mean, if you've played through with more than one Shepard you're kind of already opening yourself to the idea of alternate timelines, I can just assume ME Next is based off of one of many. Even if I do have my one favourite set of choices that I'd prefer, I can live with others.

That would be a very strong incentive for me to actually try the next game.

The big question is how will the next Mass Effect handle the last games, before 1,between 1 to 2 or 3 or after 3? The wait is too much.
