2015 is a pipe dream unless you're talking November/December. Mass Effect 4 is far more likely to come out in 2016, there just hasn't been enough released to justify thinking next year is it. Bioware wants us to be interested in the game with a build up, they wouldn't just start the promotion with a month or two to spare in pre-release.

I'd agree that it would be probably fall 2015. However, Mass Effect 3 was announced a year before its initially planned release, so it's certainly a possibility. Also, they might be holding out while waiting for DAI to release so that they don't take attention away from their newest title.

We're mostly talking holiday season of 2015 for Mass Effect, yes. So the Nov/Dec (/Oct?/Sept??).

Earlier than that is technically possible, but we don't know enough for that prediction to be supported.

Bioware can make a game in 3 years. Whether this game will be made in 3 years, we don't know. Probably not. 3.5+?

Okay, lets have a fun N7 and hope that they have something to show us at some point November or December. :)

Bioware has made it damn clear that they're not giving out too much info because they want as much attention on Inquisition as possible (for very good reason; this game will determine if Dragon Age even gets to continue, imo).

After DAIs launch? We may get a total shift to the next age of Mass Effect and what BW has planned.

Yeah, I would never believe anything sooner than late 2015, at the earliest. I wouldn't be surprised if it's early-to-middle 2016, either.

And I can easily see them as being coy about things relating to ME4 right now - there was a good deal of backlash on developer promises going unfulfilled in ME3, not to mention a couple of bad leaks. I wouldn't be surprised if NDAs are stricter and more tightly enforced this time around, which means until they hit certain arbitrary deadlines, they probably CAN'T speak about anything. And I wouldn't expect to hear anything solid on ME4 until AT LEAST mid-January, if not later, in order to give Inquisition it's full day in the sun. Maybe they'll make things official for ME4 around the same time they release the first DLC for Inquisition.

That's a realistic view but on the subject of DA while I was a great fan of DAO, DA2 waas a bit of a let down. Inquisition sounds ok but there has been sooo much publicity I'm starting to get a little worried about content. Trying to emulate the (up to now) excellent Witcher, and maybe Elder Scroll themes seem a bit risky for a company that has always excelled at in depth RPG
