Yes you can download it now. It unlocks at 12:01 AM EST. on November 18th.

Done and done, been waiting for this for a long time now, plus with EA Access I can get the Deluxe version for 63 bucks and apparently we get early access although I haven't heard the detail on that yet either.

 

Not to mention Xbox is getting DLC first as well.

from the looks of it you can upgrade later but my recommendation is to contact Microsoft support they are required to issue refunds for pre orders and then grab the DDE for 10 bucks more

Well, I wasn't sure whether to go physical or digital, but now I know. With the bandwidth around here, that would take like, weeks. I'd probably get murdered by my family before I got to play the game 

 

edit: oh it's only that big for consoles? phew. probably going physical anyway but it's good to know it isn't that ridic.

Isn't the PC version clocked at 26 GB? What accounts for that large amount of expansion in filesize?

Does it really matter whether you preload the game a month or a couple days early? You're not going to be able to play it either way (barring that EA Access thing). Unless you have a  slow internet connection and need the extra time to download, so long as the game is preloaded when it unlocks, it seems odd having a preload almost a month early.

 

All its doing preloaded this early is wasting hard drive space that could go to other games.

Yeah, but who's gonna take up that much space with games they already have on the One?

 

I've got a One, and I preloaded Sunset Overdrive yesterday(playing it now, its a BLAST), I've got the Halo MCC and Unity preloaded, and now am preloading Inquisition.

 

With the other games I've had on there since launch(some removed to make space), and with the preloaded games still sitting on the HDD(without being cut for space once I know I'm done playing them), I've got almost half my HDD space taken up.

 

Mental, but I see no reason why someone would have to worry about too much space taken up YET. Perhaps by early next year/middle of next year, yeah.

 

500GB is WAY too small when preloads are being considered. I wish I had a 2TB HDD for this console. Down the line it'll happen, for now we're treated to baby small half TB HDD's that'll have us using external HDD's in the future.
