I know one of the conferences (Gamescom?) had an info session about the DA:I companion app, but have we heard anything else about it?

I don't think they've even talked about what it does, beyond integrating with the MP and allowing you to craft or destroy items on the go.

Would be nice to get a chance to check it out before launch, too...

Since you can't really use it without DAI (virtually everything is driven by DAI game data) we won't be showing or talking a lot of this until right around DAI launch.  If there's a lot of interest we could try to do a sneak peek in an upcoming Keep twitch.

I'd love for there to be a little sneak peak in the next Keep twitch. Curious as to how it'll look/work

I wasn't even aware there was a companion app. Something to track war table missions or something I presume?

I'm just glad they made a Windows phone version. *shakes fist at Destiny*

I hope my crappy iPhone 4 can handle it. Wonder how large a download it is?

There's a little blurb on it in the MP FAQ on dragonage.com:

Is any sort of app planned for Dragon Age multiplayer?

·         BioWare understands that players can expend a lot of time going through their inventory and crafting new items. We also understand that when you are online with your friends, you want to get into action quickly. With these needs in mind, we developed the Inquisition HQ. There, you will be able to access all of your MP characters and their inventory. You will be able to change your loadout, salvage items, and craft new items. You can do all that on the go because it will run on PCs, tablets, and smartphones. We will give more details about Inquisition HQ in the following months.

Not much info beyond what EP said in the first post though.

And, I'd like to see a little preview if possible, please.

Please do, Fernando. Keep streams are fun, but a bit of added material to the stream would rock.

Probably. Don't the war missions happen even when you're not in the game so perhaps it's a way to keep track of them whilst on the move or at work or generally not playing the game... but really... who's not going to be playing this game?

+1 for a sneak peek in an upcoming Keep twitch stream, then! :)

Thanks for the reply

I concur with the sneak peak of the App and technically from a weekly PoV there is only 3 weeks left before launch, so its a perfect time to do it :D

They DID make a windows phone version this time ??? BW usually dislikes WP, they don't have a SWTOR security key app for windows phone after all these years.

I'd definitely be interested in seeing it. I'm curious to see how it looks/behaves compared to N7 HQ.

Is it a website or an app? Or both?

Will we able to read up on codex entries, like with the ME app, for instance?

Any possibility of this app coming to the amazon app store?
