I read somewhere that throughout the course of the game, the Inquisitor will on many occasions function as a judge, and will have to pass judgement in legal arguments. I was wondering, but could never confirm it, if the moral and reasoning behind one judgement would affect other judgements in a way that - people would expect you to pass judgement in a certain way based on the precedent you've established in a previous judgement, or maybe they would outright avoid pleading their case to you, being fearful of what you might decide. If having one judgement affect future cases hasn't been implemented at all, then I suggest it is considered for the future, as I am sure it would increase the number of possible outcomes and make the game more interesting. I realize it would be too late to add now.
Cheers!

from what i understand it will be similiar to what the warden could do in Dragonage Origins Awakening, where you just have rulings for disputes on your land (territories the inquisition has claimed?)

I hope it will. I loved the way how you could rule disputes on your land, just like NW2.

Yeah, I was just replaying Awakening when I saw that info about Inquisition, and that's how I got the idea.

Im excited for this. Ive always been kinda bummed in other games where u lead an army, organization, or the like, where the only real dcisions you can make is what arms and armaments you use. My Qunari warrior will definitely be a hard, but just judge lol.

This brings us to another aspect of the judge arc - chances to roleplay race/culture.

I hope they continue this aspect of the game if we are still In leader position in future games.

To my mind, for years we have been watching game developers make a compromise between making a game where the player has a maximum freedom of how to approach problems vs. a game where the player is more constrained in his decisions but the experience is more tailored in terms of better graphics and the ability to hear the voice of your character for example. It has been like that all this time, and maybe, I'm hoping, DAI will be the first game where we'll have a lot of both worlds :) Not the maximum, but at least more than we've had in any other rpg game.

Your reign of terror will easily provoke attempts to overthrow you, coming in the shape of angry villager mobs and the occasional adventuring party.

Let them come. It will be nice to have the loot come to ME for once.

this just screams roleplaying chances. So I am happy for this; I also like that we can basically be detectves. As we can listen to the case of the prisoner, and then use the clues we have or find to come to the best outcome.

Nice. I think it's a good sign if they've taken the effort to put that kind of detail into the courtly matters quests.

Is it possible to behead the death-sentenced prisoner our selves? I want to do it GoT style like Ned Stark, if you can't see the person in the eye while saying his sentence, then maybe you should rethink of putting him to death. I am agree to this concept. If it's up to me to decide that he'll be dead, then I'm going to be the one who put this person to blade myself.

Cool like in Awakening. All that power in one person.

Joffrey can be exceeded too. I loved that quote: "We've had vicious kings, and we've had idiot kings, but I don't know if we've ever had a vicious idiot king!" :D
