What if Cory is a rival to the Elder One? Someone who threatens his power just as much as the Inquisitor?

In some ways the achievement list has brought more questions than answers lol.

Corypheus! Sweet! So much more happy to see him then any piddily little Archdemon...though is he the Elder One I wonder? Also, I hope he lives up to the hype even then. I did not mention him in the Antagonist thread because he made such a brief appearance in...uh...Legacy. But man I am happy to see him and think he could be a great villain, if they make it work like that.

Also, why does he look like Corypheus...shouldn't he be more...erm...curvy? Or depending on your choices more...old..er...and more Warden like...I guess this confirms once and for all what happens when someone possesses something else they turn into that something else, always been a great mystery to me.

In the Hero of Thedas trailer, I could have sworn I heard Cory's old actor speak the "I will not suffer even an unknowing rival" line. Which is...interesting, because it was definitely NOT the same VA speaking in the Enemy of Thedas trailer.

Which furthers my belief the Elder One is Dumat and Cory is a Herald. Because as being Herald of an Opposing Deity, well the Herald of an Opposing Deity's Waifu, is almost by definition a rival. Plus if the Elder one thinks them self a god, why would they consider anyone a Rival.? The Inquisitior is a Herald, to imply something as Mortal as that is rival to a God is Absurd

I just want if there is an achievement by bringing Lelliana with you in the Orlesian court and meet Morrigan. (I'm sure if there is, there will be some really interesting speaks between these two women about DAO. "The good old times, they say..."

Here I am losing to my temptation, and now I can do nothing more than regret that I just clicked that link and read people's discussion about the achievements list. I really should have trusted my instinct and go dark when The Art of Dragon Age Inquisition was leaked. I guess I managed to spoil myself yet again.

That Josie and Female Elf Inquisitor romance picture are sweet though. , and at the very least the certain revelation quells my uneasy feeling that the Grey Wardens turned evil without any good 'reason', It seems like Cory is indeed has something to do with this.

Regardless if Cory is working alone or for someone else (I prefer to think he's working for himself. I prefer to expect this and be surprised if I'm wrong then the opposite), I wouldn't say Bioware is reusing old antagonists. Since Inquisition was already planned before DA2, I believe they used Legacy to introduce us to Cory.

It may be the same voice actor as Corypheus who speaks in the Heroes of Thedas trailer (that line about the unknowing rival), but it is DEFINITELY not done in the same voice as Corypheus. I just spent way too much time comparing the trailer for Legacy and Heroes of Thedas trailer..
