If my old theory is correct that the elder one is the source of the taint, then Corypheus is not the big bad, he's merely his avatar. Either that, or there are some major revelations coming about the old gods merely being the ancient magisters.

I have a question here:

 

I lowered my difficulty from nightmare to casual just to defeat the mage Fiona during the Haven siege, then after few progression I saw that the "Inquisitor" achievement require you not to lower the difficulty at all. 

I had an old save, one I did before I started the Haven fight just in case something goes wrong, now my question is, if I load that save and continue using that save, will the game count it as if I never lowered the difficulty and will get the achievement once I finished the game?
