I figured I'd revive this thread for the murder of Chris Paul's ankles. Stephen Curry has been abusing Chris Paul all year, but last night a homicide took place on the court.

Saw that on WorldStar. Curry is mean with the handles man.

Chris Paul will never be the same again, I remember when Allen Iverson did something similar to Jason Kidd and Kidd never recovered, it was all downhill after AI broke his ankles, mentally Paul will never be the same again. Steph Curry just took his cookies. Paul is fine physically, but mentally he's done. This will always be in the back of his head anytime he plays Curry.

That was not worthy of an ejection. Delladova better be careful otherwise he'll be looked with scrutiny by the players and refs.

He already is, after that incident with Taj Gibson last round.
I don't understand this Cavs team at all. They keep getting more and more banged up and exhausted and they respond by playing more and more smash-mouth basketball, bullying people in the post and killing the glass, and it's working. Also, they're basically the Knicks from a few years ago, except James is leading the team instead of Melo.

Jusuf Nurkic got T'ed up for this. He is the best thing about this tire fire of a Nugz season.
Lol nice. The NBA can eat a dick though.

That'll be Steph Curry right now.

Steph Curry is a very good player but he is mostly one dimensional. He is awesome at 3s but nothing special otherwise. But his team is awesome. Plus they are very healthy unlike the Cavs I think they'll sweep the Cavs or win in 5. Lebron does everything. I don't see Curry being as useful in a game where he starts 0/10 or shoots poorly since shooting is his bread and butter. I also don't see him with the skillset to take Knick rejects like Smith and Shumpel and make them very useful members of a Finals bound team.
Curry is doing awesome but Lebron is clearly the better player. Problem is as the Spurs proved last season, the best team can crush the best player.

One dimensional? Have you seen Curry lately? He does more than shoot threes. I mean he's even rebounding!

To play devil's advocate, if Dwight wasn't as soft as Charmin tissue paper that probably wouldn't have happened

Dwight is "tough" in all the wrong ways - if you call mid-air flagrant fouls and throwing elbows "tough." If he can't learn from Patrick Ewing, Kevin McHale and Hakeem Olajuwon, he'll never learn anything. He's pretty much the same exact player now as he was when he entered the NBA in 2004, and that's just not good enough.

Word. If you look at another player like LeBron and see how he's expanded his game you realize how sad Dwight's career has been.

Why'll this is true, to say Curry is one dimensional isn't fair. The dude just might be greatest shooter ever.

What makes it more impressive is his tendency to shoot off the dribble.

Stephen Curry is far from one-dimensional. He probably has the best "rush hour" and overall handles to go along with, undoubtedly, the best jumper in the NBA, and he has improved on his passing tremendously. He's also near the top of the league in steals every year. Curry has an all-around game for a PG and he's truly elite at two of the most important facets of a perimeter player's game.

Eh. Curry is fine but comparing him to Lebron is silly. No player is at the same level of Lebron. None. It don't matter though as GS is winning the championship.
L0L At people attacking Howard though. The guy is friggin' awesome (free throws aside:p). Best defender in the game despite the joke of him not winning it every season. Curry is a shooter. A damn good one. That's his claim to fame. But trying to pretend he is the equal of Lebron is foolish.
No way does Curry 'dominate' a game like Lebron did last night while shooting poorly. If Curry doesn't shoot well then he can't control thing. james can shoot like crap yet it still be clear he's the best player on the court.

Way to bastardize what I wrote. Bravo. No one "compared" him to LeBron, talent-for-talent. Any current player -- other than Kobe, but he's on his way out -- falls short when compared to LeBron, but that doesn't mean Stephen Curry isn't an elite player.
Also, Howard is not "friggin'" awesome. He's "friggin'" wasted potential. What I find funny about all of this is that no one is more "one-dimensional" than Dwight Howard.
