If you want speed, you need to pick the Vorcha Hunter. As the difference in speed is very noticeable as you zip past the other Vorcha kits like they're running on the spot.

And if you want to remove flamer, pick the Sentinal and Grenade capacity of some sort. As this way you don't have to worry about weight either.

Flamer isn't that fun at all, but at least the Vorcha kits can detonate it unlike the Geth. So that can be fun. Just set flamer for more length so you can prime easier and more enemies; activate Flamer very briefly for a single enemy then detonate; and for a group of enemies hold it on for a bit longer to make sure you set them all on fire, then detonate.

Just please try not to hold the flamer for full duration too much, as the sound mostly glitches for other players your playing with, making it sound to them as if they are doing the Flamer even with you on the other end of a map. Very, very annoying and very loud + drowning all other sounds for other players too (very bad for some like me who uses a surround sound headset to listen to other sound cues).

Mine aren't even that high (3,600 N7 and ~90,000 CP) but the most common reaction I've encountered is the "Oh, he's got this!" This is where they ninja bump the difficulty up to platinum while you're lol'ing around on Gold with a less than optimal build, or they all switch to a freshly promoted level 1 for a nice curry.

Yep if they are not intimidated they stick around for a few games and/or bump up the difficulty.

It is rare that I am even trying to outscore anyone, most of the time I'm doing some challenge and thus running around with something definitely less optimal. It is only when I end up in a lobby with really good players that I step things up after seen what they can do in the first game.

I am also not using my BotB banner, instead I'm displaying the Heartbreaker one. That way people don't assume I'm going to carry them.

A high amount of either isn't going to intimidate me. It'll make me think 'oh good I won't have to try and carry the match and probably choke under pressure.'

Then you're thinking wrong - at least if we're talking PC, which is where I'm at. Too often I've stumbled into games with people who've clearly hacked/cheated their way to stupid'o'clock points and yet clearly haven't a foggy clue what they're doing. Trying to find normal PUGs yet found myself in hacked games all week.

Just out of a game now where some muppet was opening public lobbies, setting himself invulnerable and for enemies to get one-shot by '1' damage and its frustrating how anti-fun this is when all I've been looking for is just one decent regular normal everyday platinum match, not this hacked un-fun garbage. Do it in private and have some consideration for the people who actually want to keep it real.

If I wanted to join in on hacked stuff I'd ask, or organize it with those I know who do it - such as one person who'd flip on husk mode from time to time and invite people - least then I've a choice.

So no, even more reason why I couldn't give a tuppenny flock about how much CP/N7 anyone has, or how little - as long as, again, they at least look like they've a remote idea of what is expected in a 'normal' game.

Sometimes you have to bump to platinum when you're running around looking for something to kill longer than you're actually killing things.
I bump it to platinum on occasion
