They've said that the Keep will be in all languages that the game is in, I believe.

It should be safe enough to quote this now:

it will be voiced in English, French, and German while subtitles will be every language that Dai supports for subtitles.

It will likely be localised. The queue-it thingy (for high loads) was in french for those in france.

Hello,

I'd like to ask the devs and community kind of the inverse question:

Can I choose English as the language of my DAI version using Origin from France? If yes, how? You see, even though I live in France I prefer to play my games in full English, i.e. interface and dialogues.

I'm kind of worried because I think I remember DAO being in French only (fully translated and voiced-over).  DA2 wasn't an issue as I ordered it on Steam, before the game was pulled out. Origin doesn't let you choose a version before you pre-order.

Hm. I think you can download the english language pack, if your game is in french.

I think that its pretty much a given that the Keep will be in French. The questions I would ask though, will there be an open beta in French. If so when?

Hi,

In answer to my own question above, I did a little research yesterday and I think I found a solution.  Apparently, Origin will choose a localized version of any  downloaded game based on the Origin langage settings (located under options, need a restart).

So, I tried it out with a Mass Effect 3 demo, and it worked as explained on the Bioware forums: with Origin in English, got the English version of the demo, with Origin in French got the French one, even though the Origin site text is always in French. Apparently the commercial platform's language is IP-locked.

See this (oldish) thread: http://forum.bioware...rictions/page-2

So, it's not 100% but everybody wanting to play DAI in another langage than the langage spoken in the country they live in should be good, provided (i) they change their Origin settings (by default IP-determined I guess) and (ii) the language is supported by the Origin platform, of course.

Hope this helps.
