So I know the open beta launches today, but I actually am not even sure what that means. Does that mean it'll be open to everyone, or just a larger pool of people that already registered for a beta?

Open Beta = basically, anyone can try out and test the beta.

Closed Beta = usually, you have to apply to try out this beta. Only a specific, few people get chosen to try it.

What I want to know is the time it becomes open to everyone. It's 10:20am where I am now. Should I expect around 1pm, 6pm, 8pm. Come on, I need answers people!

I'm looking forward to reading about the keep (people's impressions of it) now that it's going to be open. Although I suspect many comments on articles will be complaining about no save game importing...

I'm actually worried. I had problems with my account trying to replay DA:O after a long time. It was resolved by them giving me a DA: Ultimate Edition key. I'm hoping that there is no problems with my old uploaded date in the Keep.

 ppl are always dissatisfied with something....

My girlfriend is so excited, she's in the other room refreshing the keep page every once in a while. She's a DA addict LOL!!

Also, if Bioware just drops in with an official post stating: you ain't losing anything, it'd be even better.

They have. However they can't garuntee that a future update won't require a wipe

Ha! Well, given that they've said it will be implemented once they return to work today and Bioware operate on MST (about six hours behind GMT), I don't suppose it'll go live until maybe 2 or 3 pm UK time.

Waiting eagerly for this, I was fortunate enough to get into the beta but because of NDA I can't say anything except there was a few things I found discussion-worthy. Hopefully with the public beta I can raise these discussions. Waiting until tomorrow then

I'm actually waiting to sync up my game, since syncing DAO and DAII still isn't up yet. also I'm eager to play the dragon age keep, seeing as I couldn't get any free code for the closed beta.

As much as I wish that were true, I do not believe it to be. Bioware vastly improved the CC for every race and added in a new race along with other cool things... now ppl complain about the lack of hair for a Qunari.

They complain about lack of attribute points (somewhat valid) or how they want more casual attire in Skyhold! Ppl (as a whole) will never be satisfied and it's sickening   I'm a realist and I'm damn happy that I get to play this game in 20 days! Once I play it and I don't like something, I'll talk about it, but never will I sit there and complain about it as this is not my creation. Bioware is letting us know SO MUCH before release and they have had some negative responses thrown at them due to this.

I picture this game as a form of art.... I didn't create it, someone else did (many ppl in fact). Their total vision is what I will buy and enjoy for years to come! I'm happy with my decision even before spending mind-numbing hours on.

 

I say all this to say, "BSN is full of a bunch of pessimistic jerks, who only have the BSN to rage out on just like othergroups of ppl on Twitter recently."

There is no satisfying them and so we will get probably 5 different topics open on 3 different threads.... all because they want ot complain....
