You need to sync with your game and even then the appearance of your characters does not carry over to the keep. Only the avatars of characters you've made in game will be uploaded along with their name, race, and class.

which character? If your created characters are showing up they should have the names you gave them. Are you sure it synced and isn't just showing you the default characters?

unless they have changed it, just click on tapestry button. Sorry can't get on at work.
Console DLC not syncing is a known issue that is still being worked on.
Ok. Guess I'll just have to hang on then. Though I doubt it makes much difference, you can still pick those choices in the keep now without the DLC being synced.
I must have missed something then. I got into the beta several weeks ago but can't think of any features that would apply to. It is, however, probably more due to the second thing you said.
The NDA was a bit more significant in the early going, before they started doing livestreams and such, because there are a lot of features in the Keep now that were not present when I entered the beta (which was late July). Obviously, they didn't want us bleating about those early. 
I give up for now. I've had to restart it at least five times so far because it gets stuck. As much as I love Varric's voice, I don't want to hear it for the sixth time. I guess I'll wait until the game comes out or something to get my options saved.
You don't have to play the ISS. You can just go through the Tapestry and make all those decisions (and many more not shown during the ISS) to get your world states set up.

Select the Dragon age Origins/ 2 option on the top left of your screen, its the option with the down pointing arrow.

When in a choice, look near the top left of the choice area. Do you see where it says which game you are in (DAO or DA2)? Click the little drop down area next to it and pick which game area to go back to and it will take you to the Tapestry.
It sucks that I can't get my Wardens synced yet. I have four Wardens raring to go but only Hawke works for me right now.

Give it time, once the name editing is in, it won't matter at all.

No this isn't possible in the Keep but it's been requested.
What I would suggest is getting the free character creator and make some Wardens, I synced like eight the other day.

In Dragon Age: Origins with the ending (Major spoilers).
My warden survived the ending, he made the ritual with Morrigan and he survives the fight after defeating the Archdemon.
Alistair and Anora joined together to rule.
I know this is what happened when I played, but the keep is telling me that I can't make that choice? It says when I select Alistair to be king that it conflicts with my Warden being "Alive and well" and wants to say that he sacrificed himself and perished, but that isn't what happened.
Is this just not possible with the keep? I don't want my Warden to be dead in DA:I but I do want Alistair to be the King...
I couldn't sync my games, but I could access the DLC so that was good. I am manually tweaking my three playthroughs.

Read above, make sure you have morrigan doing the dark ritual, not just having a baby.

If you have your actual characters, why are you concerned with the defaults....sorry just not following, just select your default character.

On the char select screen in The Keep on upper right there is a check box. untick it to remove the "default" options and to be left with only your own characters
