Pretty certain they stated the boons never happened.
Fair enough.

I must be misremembering, or conflating two different games into one in my head.
Is there really no way to not do the dark ritual without killing the warden, loghain, or alistair at the end? I never do the ritual and my warden and alistair always live. And I'm pretty sure I always kill loghain...
Maybe I'm nuts.
Just do the math.

Nope, without The DR someone has to die against The archdemon.I must be misremembering, or conflating two different games into one in my head.

If you do not do the dark ritual, someone has to die. You can make Alistair king, make loghain a warden, and then sacrifice loghain to the do the final blow on the archdemon so your warden lives.
It works just fine for ma aside the movie with Varric voice where it keep "crashing" after some time.
Some choices are tricky, some I completely forget and others i didn't even imagine they existed in the game, really surprising ![]()
Unfortunately, it lacks some choices from Awakening and no mention about the other companions (only Nathaniel and Oghren
)

Only way for that to happen is with the Magic Not Dead button in DAA, which isn't supported in DAI. So if you didn't DR, your warden is dead and the warden in DAA was the orlesian.
...Can we?
Well there are people on there now that haven't signed an NDA.

There wasn't, like, some other deus ex machina dude that I could kill?
edit - apparently not. Well, it's been years. I think I had some vague notion that some random warden shows up at the end and he can die for you.

Riordin shows up, but dies trying to Leeeeerooooooy Jenkins onto the Archdemon's back during one of the final battle cutscenes. Meaning you or Alistair/Loghain has to die unless one of you did the dirty with Morrigan before the battle started.

Gotcha. Fair enough. Dang, that means I sold out to Morrigan over and over just so that a dude I kind of liked because he was funny wouldn't have to die.

Are you sure you didn't just make loghain a warden, alistair king, and then sacrifice loghain? He can die killing the archdemon and then alistair and warden party it up

...maaaybe. That sounds kind of familiar. I thought Alistair buggers off if you don't kill Loghain but what you said does actually ring a bell.
There are a few things not there that I thought would be. How I saved Connor from the demon for example, Blood Magic or with the aid of the Circle.

That's probably based on Isolde. If she's alive you asked The circle, if she's dead you used The blood magic ritual. There are a few things not there that I thought would be. How I saved Connor from the demon for example, Blood Magic or with the aid of the Circle.
If hardened, Alistair can accept Loghain as a Warden if he marries Anora.
Jeez. Okay. That's a lot to remember. What've I got, 20 days until release? I can probably do a quick playthrough by then...

If you get him married to Anora and he's hardened, you can get him agree to stay king even if you spare loghain. He leaves your party tho.

And you have to be the one to duel Loghain. If Alistair duels him, he'll automatically kill Loghain no matter what, IIRC.
- Once you’re satisfied, open the World State Manager, and select "Export to Inquisition" to use that world state on the start of a new game of Inquisition.
This part you do in the actual DAI game? I don't see 'world state manager' option in the keep.
Silent Rogue, click on the globe in the upper right corner for the World state manager.

Made 3 Worlds States and now I am finished.
Alister is king in all 3 of them and Anora is probably executed.

Some of the choices seem a little weird in terms of how they counteract. I couldn't put that my Warden lived until I put that Alistair and Anora were the rulers, and that the DR went through. Thing is, those were on as default decisions, but I had to go set them manually for the system to realize it wasn't an invalid choice.
