This may be asking too much, but is it possible to update the original post here with a list of choices people have mentioned? It seems like it'd be a good idea to compile the choices people keep suggesting, so that we have an idea of where our fellow Keepers stand. That way we can more easily add our voices to the decisions that we may have forgotten, but someone else remembered that we feel should be included. :)

I can't do anything about the original post, of course, but I'll do it here. It'll compile it, at least.

Fate of Genitivi and Respect of the Arishok not included, since they already will be added. I didn't include Anders and Justice in the 'other Awakening companions' category, since we already know what happened to them no matter what, or Nathaniel since he's already there in a different place.

I added the things I noticed were missing as well, and counted myself down as having mentioned them if they already appeared. The score marks are the number of different requestes for the same things I noticed.

Edited to include information from the 'Things missing from the keep' thread up to page 5 (prior to my post there) in the other area as well.

Alistair and Lel have the Marjolaine/Goldanna choice, plus passage of time.

The Marjolaine choice has nothing to do with hardening though. You can let her go and still harden her, or kill her and still keep her unhardened.

There's even a unique epilogue panel for a hardened Lel who let Marjolaine go

Indeed, i purposely wanted Alistair and Leliana to NOT be hardened, even though I completed their personal quests.

The fate of Brother Genetivi will be added in the future. His fate and the  respect of the Arishok are the winners of two polls.

^Ah the good ol' days

You're welcome, newcomers, for our good voting skills

She's Ella. I twisted her name, unintentionally ofc. And this choice should be in DA2 options - she's the mage that Sir Alrik wants to made tranquil in Act 2 and we can save her and then again save her from Anders and then finally decided either we let her run away or tell her to back to the circle, where she will be save.

The most important ones missing to me are the fate of the DAA companions, whether you kept Morrigan's ring in either the companions or Witch Hunt section, and the status of all the Wardens' family members and close friends from the Origin stories. I want to see all of them again someday. Dwarf Noble's kid is in there at least.

The ring shouldn't require an active romance, but it would display how much any Warden still cares for Morrigan, and should allow her and the Warden to find each other anywhere, as relevant plot points. That was really significant on a character level. Also, more of the broken romance storylines. Alistair's is in there.

And the Alienage question should be 'Who is the bann?', not whether you became one. The City Elf's cousin is someone I really want to see again, and Zathrian is also a major character for CE wardens. Same thing for the Human Noble's brother, the Dwarven Casteless' sister and nephew etc.

edit: Ella, yeah definitely. I kept looking for her in the DA2 section.

One thing that would be cool is if we can choose what kind of weapon Starfang was, so we can see the Warden use it in cutscenes later. The sword's my favorite weapon in the franchise so far.

I have to say it surprised me slightly that the Arishok's respect won the DA2 poll. I'd imagine, for many people, the Arishok would be dead. And even if he isn't, if we ever do see him again it won't be as Hawke. So I don't see this being relevant in later games. I would have thought things like Sebastian's decision to be prince of Starkhaven or the fate of Varania, for example, would be much more likely to be reflected in later games.

That was part of the discussion on the arishok issue, some other arguments said that it didn´t matter to the qun as a whole if hawke earned their respect, they would still conquer thedas, and so on, on the pro side, some said that the respect was carried over by the quinari that were left alive after their duel, and that hawke could serve as a mediator when the war came.

There were a lot of arguments on both sides.

I agree, I'd much rather see the Starkhaven choices than the Arishok's respect. I'll be surprised if we don't see what happened with Starkhaven in DA:I.

I know I voted for the Arishok namely because the Arishok having respect for Hawke is something rather huge, and it's shown that if he had respect for you, then word of that spreads amongst the Qunari.  Imagine the reprocussions that may have on the Qunari overall if not only the Warden, but Hawke (both outsiders to the Qun) could earn the respect of one of their leaders.

It's not like there have never been basalit-an before. They already have a word for it, after all.

They aren't nearly the only people in Thedas to earn Qunari respect though. It should be relevant if we have scenes with the Warden or Hawke facing off against the Qunari personally in the future, like if the Warden and (the former) Sten face off on the battlefield. I'd expect to see Starkhaven resolved first. I would think Hawke ends up respected by the Qunari either way. He/she either works with them or kills the Arishok.

edit: too many thoughs though either way ><

Hawke is always respected. But if you don't earn the complete the "Worthy Rival" he only kind of begrudgingly acknowledges it.

Before declaring how much you want to see a certain tile, think about if and how it could really affect events beyond themselves. Unless you're ok with that effect being extremely convoluted and forced; then it won't matter to you.

For example, how would the way the Warden-Commander dealt with the assassination plot be relevant outside of Amaranthine? Shale doing her quest would only matter if they decided she can indeed find a way to return to squishy dwarf form.

Sebastian is a good example because who rules one of the free march territories and if it's at war with Kirkwall could be a big deal, but it's hurt by the fact that he's DLC.

This is not to say I can defend some of the stuff that's already in the keep. I can't imagine why it goes into detail on the Ostagar prisoner instead of just asking if you got the key and chest if even that. My only thought is that it characterizes the Warden. (Think violent/compassionate/negotiator/sneaky) Apparently the Warden is only discussed in Inquisition and does not appear.

It's always possible I'm missing something and you can easily defend your cause, but I'm seeing a lot of requests that really wouldn't impact anything. That said, it could always be minor stuff like, as someone mentioned, Helena Blake or Fist showing up for a few lines of dialogue in Mass Effect 2.

I think Natureguy85 is right. I can see the arguments people are making in favour of the Arishok's respect. Hawke being basilit-an (sp?) *could potentially* become a plot-point in future games. There again, it could very easily not.

On the other hand, it would be difficult for any future game to show Starkhaven without establishing who rules it (ie, whether Sebastian returned or not). The only options are to retcon the choice (never a popular move) or simply to never encounter or mention the ruler.

Something that is misisng that I remembered being a plot option for DA2 prior to the Open beta is whether Hawke killed the Desire demon, Xebenkeck, from the Forbidden knowledge quest, and the Pride demon Hybris from the Awiergan scrolls.  I duno why they were taken out for the Open beta, but in game their side quests seemed rather important in effect especially considering the Forbidden Knowledge's quest ties to that woman Idunna in Act One of the game. I'd like to see them added back in.

Wait, they actually took options OUT before it went open Beta?

That's just odd. I would have thought they'd want as many options in the keep as possible. I wonder what happened.

Maybe it was buggy...?

When was this? I've been in since September and that isn't correct for that time period. In fact, Xenebeck was in one of the polls, but lost massively to the Arishok's respect question.

Ummm no those were never options at least not while I was in Beta.

They did remove some that I can recall based on player feedback or other reasons. In fact there are are still quite a few tiles that I think they should remove because they are redundant (looking at you Sten and Shale, you guys don't need recruited tiles).

I find having 2 tiles for Saemus Dumar rescue redundant. It's not like we have an option to negotiate with Ginnis, If quest is completed, she's automatically dead, why's there a separate tile for her?
