Sweet my characters are showing up at the keep! Now I wish the choices were matching. I put the character that had done the awakening DLC but on the keep it says he died slaying the archdemon. WTF! how can he be dead if he did the stuff in awakening? haha

Edit: strike that all my characters choice are F-ed up. *sigh*

I've tried everything, but my Warden is still missing :(  The diagnostics page says "Invalid persona/game combination" and I also tried to recreate my Warden in the Character Creator, but it says that the chosen name is considered profanity. It's the same name in my save, do you think that's why my Warden isn't in the Keep ?

I did as soon as I saw the update - at first it didn't seem to take (it usually takes no longer than a few hours for the characters to update), but after I attempted to sync the games 12+ hours later, three more wardens showed up. It's not all of them but they are the first ones I saved so hopefully the others will arrive soon too.

So, for you PC users out there who do not have the game installed on Origin - save your personal files and reinstall. In my case, I replaced my entire new Dragon Age folder with the old one and it still worked - appearance mods and all (glowy dragon armor dlc thing disappeared but I never liked it anyway >>).

I should also stress the importance of saving in the main campaign, all my previous saves I made with the intent to upload them to the Keep were in Witch Hunt - these do not seem to be the ones showing up right now. I would probably recommend attempting to do one save in each campaign for those experiencing issues, but the main game primarily. At least until we get an official fix.

Okay, this is just WEIRD. It's been awhile since I made this post and after those three wardens showed up there have been no more. I have four more characters and I have saved while logged in etc and done everything right and still nothing. It's maddening!
I'm aware that many others who have the Ultimate edition have issues with synching as well, but why is it some will show up when others will not - when I do the same bloody thing? >: ( Bah.

I am officially at a loss, so I'm posting here.
I've got two Xbox Gamertags. One I've originally played DA:O with 4 - 5 years ago, then the "new" one, which I started using 3 - 4 years ago. Now, the old one still has games synced, those show up in my Keep (I've also tried deleting them from my BSN, that got me no results)

My "new" Gamertag doesn't seem to sync at all for DA:O, but works fine for DAII. Since I've just sunk countless hours of my rare free time into this "perfect playthrough", I'm ridiculously irked that it doesn't work.

I've called and chatted with EA on 3 seperate ocassions over the past 3 days, without any results. The profile diagnostics page for my "new" gamertag says the invalid persona/game combination. I've tried resaving the game to force an upload, no results. The upload option in my game is on, and connecting to the DA servers works just fine.
I've been checking out countless threads and all to find a solution, but so far, no luck. (If I happen to find the answer before I find an answer in this thread, I'll be sure to post it)

I'm really hoping someone here can help. (If I happen to find the answer before then, I

Random thought, have you tried registering DAO with your new account? No idea if it makes a difference, but can't hurt if you haven't tried yet.

Decided to check that out, but it's already been registered to this Social Bioware account :(
Thanks for the advice, though!

Edit: Been thinking of removing registration and re-adding it. Would that even work? Or would that make things worse than it already is?

Edit 2: Figured I didn't have much to lose, so I deleted the registration and re-added it, then went back into the game, replayed the last few minutes, and added two saves. Now we play the waiting game. Thankfully, I still have a few hours of DA2 gameplay before I start Inquisition.

Did all of this. did every possible fix I could think up. no luck at all.

I think the keep is a decent idea for newcomers and such and people that want to fix mistakes they made but for god sake bioware couldn't you just give us a import save option next of the keep? I am not going to guess what my origin choices were. I barely remember any of the small details.

I am definitely not going to be playing inquisition without my proper choices history. I spend all this time in DA:O and DAII and now its just getting thrown away because "ooooh look at this fancy new thing. nevermind that it is beta even though DA:I is out already"

I am praying that bioware just realises that there needs to be a import feature since I keep on seeing people complain about the keep all over the internet.

Figured I'd let everyone know that even after more than 24 hours (more like 36) nothing has changed for me.
If anyone has any tips, I'd be very grateful.

Edit: I've decided on downloading the character creator and recreating my Warden Rowan. Considering nothing else has helped, I think this is the next best thing.

The Keep isn't there just for newcomers or correcting mistakes. Apparently the previous save games from DA:O and DA2 were buggy and so, with the best will in the world, BW simply couldn't create an import function. It just wasn't possible. The Keep is therefore designed to ensure that you can still carry forward the correct choices from your previous games anyway.

For any choices you simply can't remember there are a number of different places you can check out to help jog your memory. For example, you can try:

- the completed quest log in your last DA:O and DA2 saves

- the DA Wiki

- one of the guides which are now appearing all over the internet, like this one from PC Gamer:  http://www.pcgamer.c...age-keep-guide/

That's simply not true, I created an 'import function' in one weekend that maps plot flags to choices for Dragon Age: Origins, and I'm currently working on getting Dragon Age 2 support, a process that only takes long because I don't have Bioware's documentation. It would have easily been possible for them to support an import function into the keep that is identical to mine, and allow the player to manually update any choices they felt were incorrect in the tapestry.

If you want to see the choices you made in Dragon Age: Origins, just use my tool: http://dragonage.stinstin.com

It's still in Beta, and some choices aren't completely correctly mapped yet, but that's something that will improve in the upcoming few days.

So that would work for all five platforms?

I'm no tech expert, but BW have said it wasn't possible because of the bugs, so I'm happy to believe there's more to it than just identifying the choices you made, If you choose to disbelieve that, then fine. I have no issue with you or them.

Yes

There's not. If you have the choices you have all the data you need to import it to the keep, where they are just simple database entries. Any 'bugs' in the save games (which is a very stupid way to say it, since a save game is nothing but a collection of data. Bugs exist in code, not data) could have been easily fixed by allowing the players to modify their choices after their upload. The tool I created and linked can currently support PC save-games, and once I've got someone's Xbox 360 save game I can also update it to support Xbox 360 save games. Beyond that, all that would be needed is PS3 support, and it's unlikely that that would require any further implementation beyond the already existing PC and Xbox 360 support.

You may choose to believe Bioware's PR department on this, but keep in mind - a save game is as likely to have bugs as a plain text file, in that if you print them out, there's a chance that some ants or flies will sit atop the pieces of paper. The tool I built clearly shows that extraction of plot choices, the only relevant information in carrying over information from the previous games to Inquisition, is perfectly possible. I believe that's enough evidence to show that save-game import to the keep is completely within the realm of possibilities, and with testing something that would take Bioware no more than a month to implement.

SO! I get this is said to death but I honestly don't care. It's been months and I'm INFURIATED. I know my Warden doesn't show up but again I DON'T CARE! It's been months and I'm INFURIATED. I want my Wardens! Here's the deal:

Data syncs fine for UE. By data I mean achievements. I know this because I tested. I went out of my way to get a new achievement, and a few hours later the achievement was synced to the Keep.

My Warden was not.

I have two Wardens whose saves I DELETED because I was uninterested in both. Never got further than at most FIVE MINUTES through them and stopped playing. Those are the ONLY two Wardens who show up. Back in October I once had all five -- and even the Keep recognizes that I have 5 Wardens, but only shows me TWO -- but the next day only the two there remained.

I cannot ACCESS the BSN page due to the "Incorrect Persona/Gamer ID" error and nothing I've found to fix it. I've tried all of the official and unofficial information. I purchased UE from Steam and went so far as to register it with Origin and do a complete reinstall through Origin, and then moved over my saves and worked through every option once a day. Nothing worked.

Supposedly the BSN is moot point at this rate, but the DAKeep twitter STILL points people looking for help in this direction, which makes me wonder who moot it really is. Not that it matters because I can't change anything anyway. I know my game when I try to force upload a screenshot tells me that the Origins profile is full of data and I'm out of room, but I haven't been able to fix this since a year after purchasing UE. So.

Any suggestions for help? Because I'm getting into three months here of no change and Bioware not helping that I'm about ready to destroy something or sue somebody.

Cannot see my characters in the profile/ my games section for DA:O Ultimate. I am also getting the Incorrect Persona/game combination error. As of now a bunch of my Wardens have shown up in the keep, but a few have not. Thanks ahead of time for any assistance.

Somehow this worked instantly for me, thanks.

Does anyone have any advice on how to delete Wardens from the keep(and BSN) at all? I'd really like to keep this one screw-around character from cluttering up everything, but deleting the profile diagnostics doesn't seem to help.

I am having this problems too. I tried to finish all my Wardens but only two appear.

I have the same problem with Hawke as well but worst, none appeared.

This is frustrating

Waiting for my Origins warden to update (Created them a week or so ago).  Noticed they haven't shown up in the keep, however I did the profile thing and deleted everything except my most played Warden (From back when the game originally came out).  Hoping it is was space issue and it will show up in the keep now eventually (as I am going for a specific background, and characters have the correct names is important to me)?

Oddly enough, zero issues with the new DA 2 Hawke I made tonight, showed up right away.

On a side note, and I don't think this is relevant, can you delete DA:2 characters from the profile?  I kind of wish they didn't upload level 1 characters, I have a BUNCH on there.

Thanks Kantr, if they aren't causing a problem (and they aren't, my new DA2 Hawke showed up right away), I won't worry about it.

It hasn't been 24 hours yet anyway for my Origins character who isn't showing up.  I figured it was a space issue, based on the info here and elsewhere so I buzzed everything from my BSN folder except my "old" warden.  Keeping my fingers crossed.
